The clock strikes three and the school bells ring out to signal the end of another school day. From the high schools to the elementary schools, every young pony or good friend grabs their saddlebags and makes way for the front doors...where their rides await to take them home to complete whatever homework they have been given for the weekend.

While the many other students of both Tambelon High and Middle School are already on their way home via walking or taking the school carriage, the younger generation at Tambelon Elementary rush on outside to await their transportation....

"Well, that was a fun school days as always~" A little pony princess by the name of Starlight admits to her five best friends; She giggles as her long purple streak mane flows a little from the breeze that blows on through, "Just to be sure, I jotted all the notes on the board three times so I would not forget in case I lose one...or all three~"

"Ya sure do love ta study, dontcha Star?" Candy Apple, the eldest and leader of the group, implies with a smile while scratching the top of her head where her blond, braided mane resides.

"I sure do~" The little pink filly squeals, "Reading and studying are two of my favorite things in the world!"

"Yeah...well my two favorite things are flying and comic books!" A certain colt named Gust brags, while using his hoof to brush back his blue mane, "All I want to do right now is sit at home and fool around for the next few days."

"Now Now, Gust. Don't forget we have that special event to attend together tomorrow." Delicacy, the proud daughter of Rarity and Spike, reminds her good friend as well as the others.

"I have not forgotten our roles in dis," Shani the zebra filly says to her unicorn friend, "For such a celebrated day is not one to miss."

"Y-Y-Yeah...." The young changeling prince named Tyke says, trying his best to speak up and not be silent in front of his best friends.

Starlight giggles to what lies before her and her friends tomorrow afternoon: "Tomorrow is the wedding of my big sister Oath and her fiance Task Duty. I am SO HAPPY for her!!" The alicorn princess squeals once more, giggling little the little schoolfilly she is.

"We're all happy fer ya and Oath, Star," Candy expresses her happiness for the one filly who is little all sister, or cousin, to her as much as she is a friend, "We're all gonna pitch in n' do our parts."

"Thanks, you guys! You are the best!"

"Starlight!~" The valiant and caring bodyguard all know as Oath Sworn calls for her little sister and princess, whom she has protected since she was a wee foal, while standing over by the royal carriage that is bound for Tambelon Palace, "Time to go home~"

"Coming!~" Starlight replies, "Well guys, I have to go now. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!"

"Bye, Starlight!" The five little foals give their fond farewells with a wave of one hoof in the air, back and forth.

"Bye!~" The little princess returns the farewell with her own and trots off on her merry way to the carriage that awaits...along with her most favorite friend in all of her life.

"Hiya, kiddo! You ready to head on home?~" Oath Sworn asks the already excited little filly she loves so very much.

"YesYesYesYesYesYesYesYeeeeeees!!!!~" Starlight bounces in place with her little wings flapping with so much joy.

"MyMyMy, you are in such a good mood, kiddo. What might it be? Extra homework and/or extra studying?"

"Nope! I am so excited for YOU!" Starlight reveals the truth behind her joy, and flies on into the carriage, "After all...you know what tomorrow is, right?~"

The tan coated cheeks of the young unicorn mare turn red upon the mention of the greatest day of her life just one sleep away, "Yeah..." She giggles lightly and steps into the carriage, "Well...we can talk about it more when we get home. All of your mother's friends are at the Palace preparing for all that will take place."

"Yay!!" Starlight cheers, "I am even more excited now!"

"Heheh, you act as if this is YOUR wedding, you silly filly~" Oath teases in amusement, "I wouldn't be surprised if you were to marry somepony special to your heart once you get older~"

Starlight suddenly stops giggling and blushes at the thought of marrying somepony handsome and nice...just like Task, "Maybe...." Her mind is unsure of what to think on what marriage is like...and if there is somepony she knows so well that would make a wonderful husband. But still, Starlight's mind is still young and she will be many years away before such a time will come forth.

"Awww...you are blushing. Thinking of somepony?~" Oath teases her little sister figure and pulls her in to tickle her.

Starlight gasps at this sudden, unexpected move by her protector and big sister, and giggles to the soft hooves that press into her sides, "Stop that!! IT TICKLES!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

"I've got you now, kiddo~" Oath giggles once again while she tickles her favorite little filly. She continues to play with the little princess she loves so much...while the carriage rolls on away from the school and towards the great golden palace that lies at the heart of the golden city...where all harmony stands as strong as the very structures all around.

*************************************************

Upon arriving at the palace after a short, but enjoyable, journey within the gold and jewel encrusted carriage, Starlight quickly hops on out and rushes passed the wide open palace doors, greeting every one of the unicorn and pegasai guards who bow and reply in return, and trots on into the entrance hall where so many portraits and plants decorate the interior of the castle.

"We're home!~" Starlight says with a delightful giggle, "Where is everypony?"

"Calm down, you silly filly." Oath catches up and pets the soft mane of the anxious little princess, "Everypony is all about the castle...working on the preparations for the wedding. Shall we take a little trip to see how-"

"YES!!!" Starlight squeals and dashes off to the kitchen first...since the sight of whatever delicious treats being baked will be set out at the ceremony.

"Hehehehe, wait up!~" Oath shouts while once more galloping on through the hallways and passed a few guards and wedding planner assists that are all working hard to keep order while the big day tomorrow stays on course.

*****************************************

After a fun with some early tasting of the food from the collection of kitchen cooks and Applejack, as well as paying a visit to Fluttershy's bird chorus and Pinkie Pie's party decorating, both Oath Sworn and Starlight take a stroll down the side hallway of the castle...where the great glass windows allow the sunlight to shine ever on inside before the dusk is slowly on the approach. Here, the two sisters walk side-by-side together.

"So...where shall we go next, Starlight?"

Said princess trots merrily and hums while she goes, "Anywhere is fine by me, Oath. I am excited to see what else is being set up for your amazing wedding~"

"Heh, I still do not understand why you are so excited, kiddo." Oath ponders out loud to the little filly she continues to protect, even at this moment, "What has put you in such a great mood?"

"Why wouldn't I be, Oath?" Starlight answers, then reveals the reason behind it, "You have been with me for so long a time; Since I was born in fact. You have made me so happy all these years...and now you are going to find such great happiness with Task; So...as long as you are happy, it makes me even happier~"

A small tear rolls down the left eye of the mare who finds herself so moved by these kind words spoken from the lips of the little princess and future ruler of this very kingdom. Sniffing just a little, Oath kneels herself down and embraces her favorite little pony in all of Tambelon, "Oh Starlight...."

"Oath...?" Starlight whispers when she is suddenly pulled into an embrace that feels so soft and warm, just like her mother's hugs.

"Those are...perhaps the kindest words you have ever spoken to me." Oath whispers while she holds the most precious pony she has ever known close to her, "To hear you say this, that you wish for my happiness as I have always wished for yours, just makes me...want to...." She breaks down in tears...unable to finish her sentence.

Wishing not to see her number-one best friend cry like this, Starlight magically summons a handkerchief to help wipe away the tears, "Please don't cry, Oath...."

"No, it...its alright." The tearful pony whispers, reassuring the little princess that she will be okay, "Thank you for the handkerchief...and...for such words that I will forever be grateful for. I love you...so much, Starlight. You are...the best thing that has ever happened to be in all of my life."

"Awwww...." Starlight feels moved herself from such words spoken in return, bringing her to embrace Oath even closer, "I love you too...big sister. You are...my greatest friend...in all of the world."

    "As...are you...my little sister Starlight."

At that very moment, with nothing else on their minds, both Oath Sworn and Princess Starlight hold the hug for as long as they possibly can; With such a strong bond of friendship and love between these two young mares, which includes that of any two sisters, they both feel so happy to have each other in their lives...from now until forever.

"Ahem...." A certain sound of a throat clearing is heard, which is also a signaling to the presence of somepony important. He makes such a sound while standing before the two hugging ponies in the hallway.

"Huh?" Oath gently breaks the hug with Starlight upon hearing this, rises and turns around to see the one pony that has caught her off guard...from being a guard, "Solemn! I-I-I m-mean...Captain!" She stands up straight and salutes her superior officer...and older brother.

Starlight herself turns her eyes from the saluting mare to the great stallion that stands before her and Oath: His blue and gold armor shines when the same sunlight hits it, while the rest of his redish-brown coat and mane stand well groomed...as any Captain of the Tambelon Guard would. The stallion known by the entire kingdom: Solemn Vow.

"Hiya, Solemn~" Starlight greets the unicorn stallion without any sign of being nervous.

The strict frown upon his face slowly changes to a warm smile that is meant for both his sister and the little princess she watches over. Bowing his head in a proper manner, Solemn Vow shows his respect to the young princes before him, "Good afternoon, your Highness."

Starlight giggles in response to this and bows her head in return.

"I hope all is well." Solemn hopes when he raises his head back up to it's original position, while looking down upon both young mares. "I was hoping to have a moment to talk with you, Oath...and...you may be at ease."

Oath blushes in embarrassment when she realizes she is still saluting, "Oh sorry...." She lowers her hoof and relaxes a moment, "Its sometimes hard to remember that you are both my brother and my superior officer...sir!"

Solemn chuckles and moves in towards the mare he has taken care of for so many years, and embraces her with one arm around her neck, "Hey...ease, little sister. Right now, all that is going on...is all about you. Why don't we go and have a little talk right now...if the princess may allow it?"

"Talk...about what?" Oath questions while she returns the hug from the one stallion she has looked up to all her life.

"Just some things I would like to share with you: My one and only sibling." Solemn says, releasing his sister and turning his attention to Starlight, "May I speak in private with Oath, Princess Starlight?"

Confused by this, Starlight tilts her head to the side and stares at the two unicorn siblings, "Uh...well...I guess."

"Why don't you go and check on Lady Rarity in the Dressing Room? I think she might have your dress ready for tomorrow when you stand by my side as my Best Filly...or...Best mare if you like~" Oath suggests, hoping this will excite the little princess the way everything else has.

"My Dress?! Yay!!!" Starlight leaps in the air and flaps her wings, showing evermore how thrilled she is for her big sister's special day and the role she alone will play in it all, "Byebye Oath! Bye Solemn!" She says her goodbyes before turning around in the other direction and flying off to Royal Dressing Chamber.

"She sure is excited; The Princess acts like this is her wedding." Solemn mentions to his sister upon his observation.

"Hehe, I happened to mention that to her myself before you arrived." Oath confesses, giggling to how adorable Starlight has been today, in addition to the last few as well, "When the day comes that she does get married, I can only imagine how excited she may be...or even nervous."

    "Nervous?"

Oath shakes her head a little, turning her gaze from her precious big brother to the red carpet below her hooves, "I...Yes. I am a bit...nervous, Solemn. I...don't know why I am feeling this way...but...."

"Its the fear of change...isn't it?" Solemn guesses...correctly no doubt. "If it is, I understand."

    "Do you...?"

"Well...maybe not for getting married...but I know what it is like when change comes to us all: Whether we move to a new home...like you and I did when we first came to Tambelon; Joining the Royal Guard and moving on up in the ranks; Watching the young princess growing up and the little prince born. All these are changes that we never expect to arrive...just like you are now."

Oath just shakes her head, not fully settled on that, "I know you are trying to help...but...."

    "It'll be alright, Oathy~"

She sighs once more and smirks, "You know I never liked to be called that."

"I know...but you would always make the cutest puffy face when I would call you Oathy." Solemn reminds his little sister on all of the past things they would do, "To think...when you were but a little filly, you and I were so close: You always looked up to me, stayed by my side, and...well...you would try and keep any mares interested in me away...so you could have me all to yourself."

Oath covers her mouth, trying to hold back a great laugh that is begging to escape her throat. However, her nose comes forth with the sound of snickering that she is unable to halt, "Sorry...." Oath takes a moment to let it all go, then speaks once she can, "I do remember all those times; I also remember wanting to keep you for myself...since I loved you so very much~"

"Yeah...." Solemn smiles with a blush on his cheeks, "But...eventually, we both grew up in our own way: I became the Captain of the Tambelon Guard, and you joined when you were old enough. But then...when the day came that you first held Starlight when she was just a foal...changed everything: You became so connected with her, like a big sister...and possibly even mother-like."

The cheeks of the tan-coated mare turn bright red once the word "Mother-like" reaches her ears, "M-M-Mother? You think...I was...?"

"Yes." Solemn embraces his sister yet again and holds her close, but being careful his armor does not hurt her, "You have taken such good care of Starlight the way her own parents do. I can imagine you raising a foal of your own just like her...someday."

"Solemn!" Oath gasps and blushes even brighter, "Don't tease me like that...!"

"I wasn't!" The proud and caring big brother stallion says onto his little sister, "You would make a terrific mother someday...as you will make a terrific wife tomorrow. I know you and Task...will live a happy life, now and forever."

"Oh...big brother...." Oath Sworn mutters and wraps both her front legs around the neck of the stallion she has loved for so many years; The one pony she has stood beside and looked up to, "I love you...so much. Thank you...for everything."

"I love you too, little sister. You are everything to me...and I wish you and your fiance all the happiness in the world."

The two siblings embrace each other like so, showing how much they love and care for the other...even after the next day ends. Such a bond between brother and sister will always remain true and strong...now and the days to come.

Later That Night....

"All set for bed, my little filly?~" Asks the beautiful and fair alicorn Princess of Friendship: Twilight Sparkle.

With the exception of her head all tucked in underneath the purple and pink covers, Princess Starlight smiles onto her mother and nods her head while she lays it down gently upon the pillow full of soft feathers, "Yes, Mommy."

"Very good~" Twilight giggles and leans her head down slowly, pressing her lips onto the little pink forehead of the filly she is proud to call her own, "Sleep well, Starlight...and be ready for what tomorrow will bring."

"Goodnight, Mommy...and I know tomorrow will be eternal joy and happiness for both Oath and Task; I am already wishing for it on all the stars in the sky tonight~"

"Awwww~" Replies the alicorn who those precious words so sweet upon reaching her lavender ears. "That is such a kind thing to say, Starlight. I am so happy that you support Oath and Task's wedding.

"Of course, Mommy. I love them so much...and want them to be happy always."

"And they will be. You have my word." Twilight promise with a whisper, and kissing the forehead of her little filly once more, "Sleep tight, Starlight. Tomorrow is the big day and I will need you ready first thing~"

"Yes, Mommy~" Starlight replies, closing her eyes only a second later...anxious to sleep all the way until morning.

Satisfied by her daughter's kindness and her eagerness to doze off faster than usual, Twilight walks ever so silently out of the bedroom...and uses her magic to shut the door slowly until it is all the way closed.

"I am guessing she is already asleep, your Highness?" Oath asks with a giggle in her voice, while standing before the Princess she faithfully serves...which happens to involve protecting her very daughter.

"I believe she is~" Twilight answers the mare she trusts in the same way she does with her best friends, "She is excited for tomorrow...as are we all."

"Yeah...." Oath answers, feeling almost the same...but tries not to let the unsure part of her show. "I guess...I guess I better get to sleep myself; Task and I both agree that it is best to get a good night sleep before tomorrow."

"Alright," Twilight replies in understanding...but has something else on her mind to say, "Although, I would have thought you two would spend more time together...before you bond together for life."

Oath blushes to this and tries to hide it, but not in a very good way, "Well...you see...your Highness...."

    "Yes...?"

"Well...Task did take me out on a lovely walk around the gardens; Just us with nopony else around...." Oath tells her romantic tale of what went on earlier this evening, "He even took me to the top of the tower...where we got to stargaze and relax under the starlit night sky. It was...a very romantic evening...especially when he said a few words that made my heart leap."

    "Oh? What words were those?"

Blushing ever more to the memory from only a few hours ago, Oath finds herself unable to speak up...and shakes her head, "I...I am sorry. But...those words he spoke...were for my ears only to hear, your Majesty."

"Oh...?~" Twilight responds to that which is very familiar to her when it comes to her husband Courageous, "I understand perfectly, Oath. His heart is yours and yours alone. I respect if you wish to keep it to yourself...since we mares wish to always keep the love of our stallions deep inside our hearts to forever cherish."

Giggling like a little schoolfilly herself, Oath smiles onto her Princess and bows her head, "Thank you...ever so much...for everything you have ever given me, and my brother Solemn."

"You are ever so welcome, Oath Sworn." Princess Twilight smiles onto the mare she is so happy and proud to have brought into her life as well as Starlight's. "I wish you and Task all the happiness of Tambelon...and the Magic of Friendship that will forever remain in the family you serve and are apart of."

Oath cannot find any words to further thank the Princess of all Friendship in the world, and can only bring herself to hug the most beloved pony in all of Tambelon, "Thank you....Thank you....."

Twilight is surprised by this sudden move...but smiles and returns the hug with one leg around the neck of the mare who sheds a few tears by this moment, "You are more than welcome...."

Once the friendly hug comes to an end and both mares step back, Oath gasps when she realizes what she just did...and kneels post haste, "Please...Forgive me...for my sudden reaction...your Majesty...!"

Twilight just giggles and places her hoof upon the shoulder of the worrying mare, "It is alright, Oath. You are apart of our family...and in times like these...we welcome such a show of everlasting friendship and love toward another."

Relieved to not be lectured on such a thing, Oath smiles...showing her gratitude for the Princess Twilight Sparkle.

"Well, I must be off to bed. Goodnight to you, Oath...and be ready first thing in the morning~"

"Yes...your Highness." Oath replies in grace, dismissed and trots herself off to the barracks in the lower levels of the palace...where all her marefriends await to talk with her and have a late night mare-talk on all that she will be looking forward to.

However, as the two mares trot off...a dark cloud of mist comes on out of the shadows and carefully follows the armored one. With a pair of wicked orange eyes glaring upon Oath from afar, a sinister voice laughs in amusement towards the happiness she plans to destroy...and become even stronger than before.

The Very Next Day....

The gates of Tambelon Palace open and the invited wedding guests begin to arrive one by one. Riding within their fancy carriages, or strolling on in from a short walk, the family and friends of the bride and groom show up all dressed up in their finest suit or dress...wanting to look their best for not only the newly weds, but the Prince and Princess of Tambelon themselves.

Many of the Tambelon City Elite arrive to witness the wedding that is being talked about all over the island. While the guests are escorted through the palace and into the great gardens where the wedding itself will take place, everypony taking part in this wondrous event are inside...prettying and preparing themselves for what will forever be remembered as one of the greatest weddings in the history of Tambelon...right behind the first ever that involved Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Courageous Heart.

"How do I look, Mommy? Do I look pretty in my new dress?" Starlight asks such a question to the mare she stands before and loves so much.

"You look beautiful, sweetheart." Twilight confesses and admires how much her little filly looks so pretty in the lovely outfit Rarity made for her; The very light purple dress with the flower laces decorating the edges really bring out the adorableness seen in Starlight's eyes. Not to mention the way Twilight brushed and curled her daughter's mane reminds her of the style she once wore during Shining Armor's wedding, "You really do."

    "Thank you, Mommy~"

"How do we look, yer Highness?" Candy Apple asks the same question, but more referring to herself and the others all around her: Shani, Delicacy, Tyke, and Gust all stand before the Princess of Friendship...all dressed up in the lovely outfits made by none other than Tambelon's famous and most beloved fashion designer:

"Rarity...what do you think? You did make them after all." Twilight turns to her best and most generous friend out of the five she loves, hoping she can give them a greater answer than she can.

"Twilight, darling. You need not to ask me how they look," Rarity insists, "My daughter and her little friends look absolutely stunning in their wedding outfits: Three little Flower Fillies, Two Ring-Bearers, and One Best Mare...all dressed and groomed in the finest I could ever design; I have spent the last three months patiently planning and crafting these dresses and suits...and I must say they have turned out beautifully. Plus, as I have said before: They look absolutely dazzling upon these sweet and adorable little foals...whom I made for them and them alone; I believe nopony else would look so smashing, or beautiful, if they were to wear those."

"Wow, Rarity. I would have to say that is perhaps the most generous and inspirational answer I could have heard from you when it comes to your work."

"Thank you...Mommy." Delicacy blushes at the sweet, kind compliments she and her friends are given by her mother.

"But of course, my dear Delicacy," Rarity generously replies before nuzzling her cheek.

"Thank you, Mrs. Rarity~" Shani, Gust, Tyke, and Candy all thank the generous and beautiful fashion pony for the lovely wedding outfits that all feel proud to wear.

"You are all very welcome...and I cannot wait to see you all out there doing your part to help see our beloved Oath and Task's special day all the way until the end."

Everypony giggles at the great notion to wanting the one mare and stallion, who have been there to watch over them the way their own parents do, move on up from marefriend and coltfriend to the final stages of love: Husband and wife. With each of their roles set and practiced, all that needs to happen now is to get to their assigned areas and begin...while wearing the great outfits that will surely bring an admiring audience, including that of the parents and family within.

"Well, now that all of the little ones dressed and looking their best, I guess it is time to prepare the beautiful bride to meet her dashing husband at the alter?~" Twilight Sparkle assumes, giggling and blushing at the grand moment rising and approaching so quickly.

"Oh absolutely, Twilight darling~" Rarity confirms such a question, turning to the the wedding dress that hide behind the curtain within the dressing room they all stand in, "I have worked months to perfect it...and...this dress will be the most beautiful I have made yet...besides the one you wore on your wedding day, Twilight."

The giggling princess recalls the beautiful dress Rarity made for her years ago, and blushes when such memories return to her mind, "I remember how special it was: The wedding and the dress I wore when Courageous and I were married here in Tambelon."

"I remember too, Twilight...and I promise to have Oath become as radiant as you were that day," Rarity vows by the status of her reputation, then stomps her hoof upon the floor two times...signalling her helpful assists. "Which reminds me: I will need to have you and the little ones leave me to my work; I wish for ALL of Tambelon, including the groom, to be surprised when Oath makes her grand entrance."

"Say no more, Rarity. I know you well enough to know when you want to surprise us and others," Twilight says with a delightful giggle in her voice, only to turn herself from the lovely white unicorn to the six little foals, which includes her daughter, and gently escorts them out of the dressing room, "Alright, my little ponies. Time to get you all to your positions for when the wedding begins~"

"Yay!!!" The Yearling Six cheer with excitement and eagerness...and make their way on out and onto the Palace Gardens when the wedding will take place.

Once the six little ones and Princess Twilight leave and making haste to the outdoor chapel, Rarity turns to her assistants and prepares to give them their roles for this Bridal Makeover, "Now, let us begin. You two...." She points at the two unicorn mares that aid in both outfits and make-up, "Go and find out what is taking the bride so long to get here; Oath should have been here around an hour ago. Such tardiness...."

"Yes, Lady Rarity!" The two obey their boss and most respected designer, dashing off to find the bride either in her quarters...or elsewhere.

"What about me, Rarity?" The curious white coated earth mare asks, anxious to know what role she will have.

"Coco, darling...you will be my second-hoof in this: I need you to be at my side when we prepare the bride for her groom," Rarity informs her number-one assistant in the fashion department, "You have been preparing for this for some time now...and I wish to give you this chance to ready a mare for her special day."

"Oh Rarity...." Coco Pommel gasps at the sudden opportunity she is being given, "I...I...I don't know if...I am worthy...or ready."

"You must be, darling. You have such great potential to become as grand as I have...and I give you this honor of preparing Oath Sworn for her day to walk down the aisle and stand upon that alter...ready to say "I do"."

Although her heart beats with both excitement and nervousness, Coco keeps her posture and her cool...taking in a deep breath and exhaling it out before answering, "I am honored by this, Lady Rarity...and I accept and will give it my all!"

"Wonderful, Darling!!" Rarity expresses her gratitude, patting her good friend and assistant on the shoulder, "Now...let us make ourselves a beautiful bride for all of Tambelon to behold and admire!"

    "Yes, Ma'am!"

************************************************

The hour of the wedding is nigh and is now starting at long last.

Everypony within the beautiful garden of greens and many colored flowers all move onto their positions, whether they are guests or participators in this wedding. Within a minute, everypony now stands ready to do their part:

All of the attending guests, both of the nobility and friends of the bride and groom, all stand together around in the gardens; Some are on the left side of the long, red carpet leading up to the alter, while some are on the right...with their attention facing the middle where the trumpet ponies stand at attention...awaiting to signal when the bride shall enter.

The main family and friends of Oath and Task stand at the very front near the garden alter, all anxious to see the ones they love so much getting hitched at long last: Courageous stands at the front alongside other members of royalty...which included Queen Chrystala of the changelings, and his own family: Shammy, Tap, and Grace.

On the other front side are the parents of the young foals who each have a part to play in this wedding: Cheeriee and Big Macintosh, plus Applejack, Applebloom, and Granny Smith are ready to see their little Candy skip on out as one of the three Flower Fillies; Spike stands beside them, awaiting for his little filly Delicacy to frolic along with her friends; Subira, Thunderhooves, and Zecroa all stand at the far end, but ready to witness Shani come out all pretty adorable for them to see.

Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich stand behind the Apple Family, all proud of the decorations they have set up in the last few days...plus the party that will be thrown afterwards with the great wedding cake Pinkie and her sisters prepared specially for the bride and groom; The rest of the Tambelon Guard all stand around in the rows behind the Royalty and friends of Royalty...all dressed in their best uniforms or dressed depending on whether mare or stallion.

At the very front, Princess Twilight Sparkle stand ready to marry her good friend Oath to the stallion that is already standing close by, dressed up in the fanciest black tuxedo that Rarity herself made for him: Task Duty; Solemn Vow stands beside the groom as the Best Stallion, proud as always of the happiness blessed upon his sister; Princess Starlight stands on the other side of the groom...wearing her pretty new dress that shows her to be the Best Mare, or Filly, to the bride. In her heart...the little Princess wishes with all her love and being to see her big sister Oath be granted the eternal happiness that all ponies find at some point in their lives. Tyke and Gust stand at each opposite side, holding the pillow where each of wedding ring rests upon; As ring bearers, they have one of the most important jobs.

Since the ceremony has yet to start, everypony talks among themselves and their friends and neighbors...awaiting for when the bride will appear in all her beauty before all the guests and the lucky stallion named-

"Task...." Solemn Vow whispers onto his soon-to-be Brother-in-Law, "Your bowtie is crooked."

"Huh?" Task turns his eyes down to his suit, and notices his blue bowtie turning more upward than side to side. "Oh...."

"Here...." Solemn offers his assistance, summoning forth his magic to fix this little error. Once the bowtie is straightened properly, Solemn smiles and nods, "Perfect."

"Thanks." Task smiles, showing his gratitude.

    "My pleasure...bro."

Task gasps under his breath when he hears his superior officer call him such a name that makes him feel...happy, "B-B-Bro...?"

"Well, of course. You are marrying my sister...and that means you and I will be brothers now." Solemn informs the obvious, but places his hoof upon the shoulder of the nervous stallion to reveal more to it, "But other than that, I am really happy for my little sister finding somepony as special and caring as you to be there for her always."

"Solemn...." Task tries to express his thanks, but is cut off.

    "Not finished yet, soldier."

    "Sorry, sir."

"Its alright. Now, as I was saying: ever since you joined the Guard years ago, you have been working hard and doing your best to show how devoted you are to serving the Royal Family...." Solemn continues his little speech, moving from one point to the more important one, "In all honesty...you made the right choice and proved yourself more times than I can count."

Hearing such praising words brings comfort to the heart of the stallion bound to be married any moment now, and remain silent while his future brother-in-law finishes his speech.

"I have seen you be there for my sister...and prove your love and loyalty to her time and time again. I am proud of both of you...and that I know you are perfect for one another." Solemn gently pats the shoulder of his new brother with a warm smile, "I wish you my blessing and all the happiness in the world."

Such meaningful words spoken by a supporting family member helps bring ease and further comfort to the young groom standing upon the later. All that Task can say in response to this are only a few short words of gratitude: "Thank you...brother."

"You are very welcome, little brother. Now...lets see this through to the end, and have the new life you and Oath shall share begin at long last."

Suddenly, just when everypony begins to wonder when the ceremony will start, Coco Pommel arrives at the alter in a sudden surprise; Rarity's assistant apparently made her way around to the alter instead of through it...in order to avoid drawing attention.

"Coco? What are you doing here?" Princess Twilight Sparkle asks onto the little mare with the blue streak mane, "Is something wrong?"

"Yes...." Coco nods and feels very nervous to reveal what is going on...but does so since her boss has given her this responsibility, "We...We cannot find Oath. She has...disappeared, your Majesty."

"What?!" Twilight, Starlight, Task, and Solemn all blurt out, but not too loud to disturb the guests all around.

"I am sorry...but when we tried to bring Oath in to prepare her for her grand entrance, she was not in her bedroom...nor anywhere else that we looked." Coco explains, while blinking a tear, feeling she may be disliked for delivering such news to the groom and his family, "I...I am sorry."

Twilight eases Coco's pain by placing her hoof gently upon the shoulder of the saddened mare, "It is alright, Coco. You did the right thing informing us without drawing attention or creating a panic."

    "I...I...thank you, Your Highness."

Princess Twilight smiles onto the young mare before turning to her captain, "Solemn! I need you to round up what troops are on patrol and search the castle for your sister! We have to find her...now!"

"Yes, your Majesty!" Solemn salutes and sneaks his way out by going around the same way Coco did, "Where are you, little sister?"

"Task! You go with Solemn and find her. I will do what I can to locate her with my magic, and have my friends and husband keep this from getting out."

"Yes, Princess Twilight!" Task salutes and follows his brother-in-law out and around to join the other guards to find his missing bride, "Oath. Where have you gone? Please...be alright, my love."

"Mommy! What about me? I want to find my big sister!" Starlight pleads for her mother to give her the task of searching the castle grounds for Oath Sworn...especially in the places she favors most that might hold her current location.

"No, sweetie. Let the guards do their job in finding her." Twilight sadly informs her daughter, "You and your friends stay here...while I go help find Oath."

    "But-"

"Stay here!" Twilight orders, and sneaks away from the alter quietly to inform her husband of what is going on and what is the best course of action to keep the guests and others calm.

However, Starlight refuses to just stand there looking pretty while her big sister is missing...which worries her as it does all the rest who know. She begins to walk slowly away from the alter and towards the other areas of the gardens.

"Where are you going...Starlight?" Tyke questions his best friend, following behind her.

"Yeah. Where are you going?" Gust asks the same question.

"To find Oath...and to bring her back!" Starlight states and gallops off as fast as her four hooves can carry her...with two of her best friends right behind her.

*****************************************

"Attention!!" Solemn Vow barks at his pegasai troops that currently stand at attention in the main entrance, ready to give them their new orders, "Oath Sworn has mysteriously disappeared...and I need to know if any of you have seen her in the last hour!"

The guard ponies shake their heads sadly, showing that they have not see the bride anywhere.

"No...." Task mutters and hangs his head, "Where could she be....?"

"Easy there, Task. We're going to find your bride! I promise!" Solemn informs his brother-in-law with the best comforting words he can muster, "But I need you to stay focused...because I need you to help me find her; I know you wish to find her...more than any of us, Task."

Knowing that his brother-in-law and Captain is correct when he says this, Task shakes off any sense of fear he might have within him...and stands tall before his fellow troops, "Yes, Sir!"

"Very good!" The stallion who commands with such strength and passion approves, then turns his his guards once again, "Alright! Fan out and search everywhere inside! If you find nothing, search the gardens. Hopefully she will be somewhere within one of these places!"

"Sir, Yes Sir!" The guards, including Task, give their response and divide into groups faster than expected. Afterwards, the ground of around thirty Tambelon Soldiers gallop or fly off to search all over the palace, inside and out, in hopes to find Oath Sworn.

Elsewhere....

"You really think Oath is here, Starlight?" Gust questions the location and that of his best friend...while he, Starlight, and Tyke stand before the garden maze made out of high, green hedges.

"Yes! I know this is where Oath goes when she wishes to be alone." The little alicorn princess explains that which she promised to keep secret, "When she and Solemn had a fight some months ago, she ran inside here to be alone and cry. I found her and helped to comfort her...as any little sister would her big sister."

"What...happened then?" Tyke asks, wanting to hear more about that day.

"Well...Oath made me promise to keep her little spot within the maze a secret...and that we would always use it if we feel like hiding from something." Starlight confesses this little secret with a smile on her face, "After that, she and her big brother talked and made up. From that day, we would always find each other in this maze should something happen...and I can feel that she is in here."

"Well...I won't argue with that," Gust states, "You know her best, so we will find her!"

"Y-Yeah!" Tyke gives his support to his best friend.

"But...how long does this maze go on?" Gust asks yet another question to this problem, "It might take a while to explore the whole place...."

"Uh...Gust?" Starlight grabs his attention, by spreading her feather wing of pink, "You know the three of us can fly right?"

"Oh! Uh...yeah...." Gust recalls that, blushing hard from the embarrassing moment.

Starlight takes to the air, with her two best friends following close behind...then eventually spread out to cover the whole corridors of green. They fly and hover slowly above the maze...looking down and gazing on inside to see a few benches and statures that are placed within at different pathways and at a few dead ends. However, near the back, Starlight spots the only thing that stands out among it all:

"There she is!" The little Princess calls out to her friends, bringing them back to her as she points on down to a wider open area within the maze, with a certain unicorn mare of tan coating and brownish-red mane, weeping while she sits upon a bench mane of stone. "Let's head on down."

********************************************

"Why...."  The weeping unicorn named Oath Sworn asks herself within her mind that is full of unknowing fears that cause her body to shakes a bit and her eyes to release saddened tears of worry, "Why...Why am I so...scared? I...I love him...but...I feel...so afraid." Oath continue to shed tears while she sits on the stone bench, staring at the grass before her lower hooves.

"Oath?" Comes the voice of a worrying little filly who lands right before the mare who's mane is all messed up which his probably due to her forgetting to brush this morning, "We found you...but...why are you crying?"

Shocked, but not entirely, to see that Starlight has found her in such a horrible state makes Oath blush in such an embarrassing way, "Oh Starlight...Tyke...Gust. I'm...I'm sorry...."

"What are you sorry for, Oath?" Gust questions such an apology without an explanation.

"I guess...everypony is looking for me, huh?" Oath guesses from the obvious arrival of her favorite little filly and friends, "I wonder...if they are worried."

"Very worried...especially Task." Tyke answers without stuttering.

"He misses you...and wishes to find you, Oath." Starlight adds in.

Oath hangs her head a little and feels even more terrible and shameful for hiding like this, "I'm...I'm sorry, Starlight. I'm sorry for worrying all of you."

"W-W-Why...are you here?" Tyke does not wish to pry, but feels he must ask.

"Because...Because...." Oath tries her best to speak...but finds herself losing her ability to answer such young little foals who may not understand the ways of relationships and marriage, "I...I can't."

"Oath...." Starlight cannot understand why her big sister and best friend refuses to talk...and tries to approach her closer. However, the little alicorn comes to an absolute halt when a dark cloudy mist appears behind Oath...with a pair of wicked glaring eyes in the center, and a grin that cackles upon them all. "What?! No....!"

Tyke and Gust gasps in shock when they see what Starlight sees...and already know who it is, "DISMAY!!!" The two little colts shout within their minds, too frightened to say it out loud.

Oath notices the scared expressions on the faces of the three little foals, and turns around to see what is troubling them...only to see nothing, "What is the matter, Starlight? What are you all staring at?" The confused unicorn asks when she returns her attention to the little group.

Starlight cannot believe that Oath cannot see the wicked mist form of Dismay...but now knows what has caused Oath to run and hide: Her fear, whatever it may be right now, is being used to scare her away and destroy her wedding. Grinding her teeth, Starlight finds herself slipping and her anger growing at the monster who has dared to attempt to ruin the happiness of the best friend she loves so very much, "HOW...DARE YOU...DISMAY!!!" She screams within her mind.

The mist lingers there for a moment, and the evil spirit within...the Yearling Six know to be Dismay...just glares at them and laughs in amusement to what she has brought upon this happy day. However, she suddenly vanishes when the sounds of other ponies approaching reaches her ears. The cloud vanishes, leaving Starlight, Tyke, Gust, and Oath all alone...for the moment.

"Oath?!" Task Duty calls out to his bride while he searches the maze...and seems to be getting closer since he has just heard some voices a second ago, "Is that you?! If it is...please...please answer me!"

While part of her wishes to remain hidden, Oath cannot bare to reject the cries of the stallion she loves. Taking in a deep breath to help clear her lungs from the recent crying, she raises her head to the sky and replies, "I am over here, Task...!"

Gasping with relief to hear the sweet voice of his beloved Oath Sworn, the loyal and determined white unicorn gallops around the hedges and into the little area where he finds the little princess and her friends standing before his bride, "Oh Oath! I am so happy that you are safe!" He moves up to her and gently embraces her.

"Task...." Oath mutters his name with such passion, and returns the embrace with her own...feeling even more ashamed to have hidden herself from him, "I am sorry...."

"Shhh...it's okay." The kind and caring stallion whispers to reassure his bride that he is not mad, "I am just so happy to have found you. I was so worried...."

    "I'm sorry. I was...I was just...so scared...."

    "Scared?"

"Y-Y-Yes...." Oath confesses to her groom, and to the little foals sitting before her, "I...I love you, Task. Ever since you came...into my life, I wanted...to forever be with you. Even after you proposed to me, I was so happy. But...But for some reason, I am scared; To walk on down that aisle and go through it all...just scares me so."

Starlight feels so sad for Oath and how she feels about this, even though she herself may not know everything there is about marriage. However, what the little princess does know is what brought out such a fear in a strong way that made her run and hide; The very thought of Dismay trying to destroy Oath and Task's happiness makes her more upset than any other time before.

"Oh Oath...you don't need to be-" Task tries to explain, only to stop when he comes to realizes that he himself is not alone in this. He sighs and sits himself down beside Oath, ready to confess, "Actually...I know how you feel, my love."

Oath gasps when she hears something she never imagined to hear from her stallion, "You...You do?"

"Yes...." Task Duty, a stallion of honor and loyalty, confesses once more and explains his story, "To be honest...I was afraid too; Marriage is a great step...no, leap forward when it comes to love. It is a special way of life that has so many wonders, but responsibilities, to it. I guess...I was scared of some of those things myself."

"Task..." Oath mutters, but allows him to continue.

"I almost gave in to my fears...which became really strong all of the sudden as of recently...." Task continues, while mentioning that of some unknown force that brought him down the way it did Oath. "But...as much as I came close to running away from it, I did not give in! I wanted to stay...because I could not bare to be without you...my beloved Oath Sworn."

Hearing such words of devotion and love bring joy and warmth to the worried heart of the unicorn sitting beside the stallion, who has such compassion within himself. Oath scoots herself closer to Task and touches his hoof with her own and blushes ever so bright, "Oh Task...I love you, so much!!! I cannot bare to be without you either!"

"Awwww...." Starlight's anger towards Dismay, who is gone as of now, disappears as something warm and special is before her once more: Her big sister cuddling the stallion of her dreams...and both expressing their love for each other.

Gust and Tyke admire the moment themselves, and are happy that they have admitted their fears...and are willing to overcome them now.

"So...my Oath Sworn...shall we try again, and stand at that alter...together?" Task pops such a question, feeling ready to devote himself entirely to his fiance and give her a wonderful life of happiness and joy.

"Yes...lets go, my Task Duty~" Oath giggles and stands up on all four hooves, ready to go and prepare for her special day that she almost ran away from, "Come on, kiddos...lets have ourselves a special wedding that we will never forget!"

"Yay!!!" Tyke, Starlight, and Gust cheer for their best friend and protector.

As the ground of two ponies and three little foals stroll on out of the maze, using the route that they used to enter, Starlight turns her head and looks back at the area that she and her friends saw that wicked monster. In her mind, the little princess still feels angry towards Dismay for what she tried to do to both Task and Oath...but will not let it get to her while there is still a wedding to be had. Letting it go for now, Starlight turns her face forward...and moves on.

******************************************

After reuniting with the search party, both Oath and Task are taken back to their separate dressing rooms where they are refitted and re-groomed for their special day:

Task has his suit dusted and polished up for his special day. Even his mane is combed once again to ensure he looks perfect for when he stands beside his bride. Afterwards, he is rushed back to the alter by Solemn and once more stands ready.

Oath is taken in to her dressing room, where Rarity and Coco prepare her make-up and wedding dress. After less than an hour of quick, but steady work, the Pony of Generosity holds the mirror before Oath...showing just how beautiful she is. Once every little detail is completed, Rarity and her little assistant guide her out onto the gardens where her soon-to-be husband awaits.

With the waiting ending at long last, the trumpet ponies blow their horns to announce the start of the ceremony. Blowing the traditional call, they lower their long horns and stand at attention.

Everypony turns their attention to the great double doors at the end of the great, red rug...and all look in amazement to what they will soon see walking down the aisle.

Fluttershy, who is personally responsible for the wedding anthem, signals her bird friends to start:

First to skip on down the aisle are the three Flower Fillies...made up of three familiar and beloved little fillies named Candy Apple, Delicacy, and Shani. Wearing the lovely little dresses Rarity made for them, they gently wave the basket of flower petals back and forth...showering the carpet with pretty white flowers. The parents are all in awe at the sight of their little girls and be sure to have pictures taken.

Finally, walking on down the aisle next, wearing a lovely yellow and orange wedding dress made especially for such a lucky and beautiful bride, is Oath Sworn. She smiles onto all the guests and her fellow guards...as her attention turns to the stallion she holds so dear to her heart.

Everypony is in awe at the sight of such a beautiful bride for the lucky groom who feels his heart beating for the mare he loves. With all their friends and family here to support them all the way, Oath arrives at the alter and stands beside Task Duty...together at long last.

"Dearly Beloved...we are gathered here this day..." Princess Twilight begins as the birds conclude the wedding song; All this reminds her of when she and Courageous were married, and the weddings she performed for her friends when their special day came, "...to join this mare and stallion in harmonic matrimony! If anypony does not believe these two should wed, speak now or forever hold your peace!"

Everypony in the audience, pony and friend alike, remain silent...for their is not a reason whatsoever that Oath and Task should not marry. Their support for these two ponies goes as far as the great ocean surrounding their home.

"Very well! Before we begin, does the bride and groom have anything they wish to say to each other?" Princess Twilight continues and awaits their answer.

"We do...." Both Oath and Task say together; They have prepared a speech they will recite together...as one, "We learned that Marriage is perhaps the greatest step for love to move forward and bloom ever more. There will always be challenges along the way, but the most important thing to remember is never to be afraid of them...but to face them together. THAT...is what being married is all about!"

"Awwww...." So many ponies in the audience give as a response to the adorable lesson they have learned and will take to heart...for those who are married and those will may someday.

"That was beautiful." Princess Twilight admits with a warm smile, returning to her role as the one who will marry the two before her, "Task Duty...do you take this mare to be your wedded wife? To love and cherish from this day forth for as long as Harmony shines forever bright?"

"I do!" Task turns to face his beloved bride...and answers without a second thought.

"Oath Sworn...do you take this stallion to be your wedded husband? To love and cherish from this day forth for as long as Harmony shines forever bright?"

With a short breath in and out, the lovely unicorn mare looks into the eyes of his stallion...and answers: "I do!"

With their vows set, Twilight uses her magic to to levitate the rings off the pillows that Gust and Tyke hold...and places them upon the horns of the bride and groom...forever sealing their love with the vows they have made. "I now pronounce you Husband...and Wife! You may kissed your bride."

The brightest of all days + SPEEDPAINT by BaldMoose

Taking only a simple step closer to his bride, Task leans in slowly and presses his lips to the mare he loves with all his heart...and kisses her. Oath returns the kiss with her own, forever sealing them together as Husband and Wife. Once the two gently break the kiss, they turn to the audience...who applaud for the newly weds and all the happiness they shall share together.

To both Oath Sworn and Task Duty...this is the greatest day of their lives.

*************************************************

After the ceremony finishes and everypony gathers in the party area, the bride and groom share their special dance together. Everypony watches in awe...especially the family members of both.

But not too long after the dance comes to an end, the Wonderbolts appear high in the sky...led by Rainbow Dash and Soarin...and perform a Team Sonic Rainboom for all to admire and adore.

"Come on, everypony! Let's get this party STARTED!!!!~~" Pinkie Pie squeals and changes the music from a romantic dance theme to an exciting party one that both she and Cheese know that all will love.

Twilight Sparkle grabs her microphone and sings a song that she has not sung in years; Probably since her brother's wedding. Knowing that this is one of the greatest moments to use this song once again, the Princess of Friendship takes a deep breath and uses her special voice to give this next number to the bride and groom.

"Love is in Bloom!"
"A Beautiful Bride, A Handsome Groom!"
"Two Hearts becoming one!"
"A bond that cannot be undone because..."
"LOVE IS IN BLOOM!"
"A Beautiful Bride, A Handsome Groom!"
"I said LOVE IS IN BLOOM!"
"You're starting a life, and making room..."
"FOR US!"

As the Princess and the music continue to ring out for all to hear, everypony begins to dance to the song that is for the newly weds and their special day.

The Apple Family join in with the dancing, even using their own violins and flutes to add some down-to-home backup for the current song playing; Rarity and Spike dance together, while Delicacy joins in; Gust and Candy dance together and have a fun time; Starlight and Tyke dance for the first time, and despite a few missteps, they have a great first dance; Pinkie and Cheese keep the music going, while sticking close together; Shani and her parents bang on their traditional drums to add more to the music playing; Solemn and his guards all grab a partner and dance together for as long as the song keeps going.

Princess Twilight brings her song to an end when her beloved husband, Courageous Heart, offers her a dance; They dance on two legs the same way Oath and Task are.

The party continues on for sometime, and it becomes one of the greatest Tambelon Weddings thus far...behind the wedding of the Royal Family of course.

Eventually, the bride and groom are escorted to their carriage...which is bound for their honeymoon in a location that they shall not reveal, since they wish to have the next week or two all to themselves.

"I am proud of you, sis!" Solemn Vow expresses to his little sister, who is more of a full grown mare than when she was when she first became a guard, "Have fun on your honeymoon."

"Thanks, big brother!" Oath replies with a hug around his neck, "See you when I get back." She then turns to the little filly beside Solemn and smiles, "Take care, little sister~"

"See you when you get back~" Starlight embraces her best friend in the whole wide world, so happy beyond what her heart can know to have her finally married to the stallion of her dreams.

As Task helps his beloved into the carriage, Oath takes her bouquet of flowers and throws it high in the air for the bridesmaids and other anxious mares to catch. However, despite all those ready to catch and fight of it, Pinkie Pie leaps over them and catches it with her teeth. This brings everypony to giggle at the little pink pony who may soon be the next one in line to be married...to a certain fun stallion standing beside her.

With both ponies inside, the carriage doors close and the pony guards assigned to transport the newly weds to their designation, pull the carriage down the walkway and out of the palace gates...and onto the honeymoon trip. Everypony waves goodbye and wishes them the best...and all the love and friendship they will ever have in the days to come.

Gee, Dismay, you're a lot less impressive than Chrysalis.
But seriously, this story was pretty heartwarming and adorable. And it upsets me a little. Why can't I write emotional dialogues like you? Sad dummy
