During a school lecture on the various areas around Tambelon Island, which includes that of the forbidden Black Fog Forest, Candy Apple mentions the rumored witch that is said to live there, and this places her in a great deal of trouble with her teacher and mother Mrs. Cheerilee Apple.
After a short session of detention, Starlight and the rest of her friends are very curious to why Mrs. Cheerilee was so upset and try to find the reason behind it.
Even after asking their parents, none of them wish to speak on the matter of the rumored "Witch of the Woods" for reasons they cannot explain. This makes things even more suspicious.
But in the end, with each of the Yearling Six's families hiding something, the time may be coming for the parents to reveal a great truth that they once promised to keep secret forever...but can they?
