"Alright, everypony." Oath Sworn, the beautiful unicorn bodyguard of the young princess of Tambelon, informs her little sister figure and all her friends once they arrive in the Royal Library of Tambleon Palace, "You six hang out here for now and have fun...and if there is anything you need, just ask. I will remain here in the library with you, so I will not be far~"
"Thank you, Oath." The lovely Princess Starlight expresses her gratitude to her big sister figure and protector, only to turn to her five best friends and smile, "So...you guys ready to have some fun with reading?~"
"Eeyup!!" Candy Apple, the leader of their little group, answers with a smile upon her lip lips.
"I guess...." Gust replies, showing little interest. "Then again...if there is something here on Daring Do, or at least a comic book, then I may find it a lot more interesting."
"I do not mind reading a little. A good book is always as fun as relaxing in bed while wearing silk pajamas~" Delicacy answers, brushing back her long, silky mane to show off her radiant beauty.
"Reading can be quite a delight...especially when doing so from day until night." Shani, the zebra who only speaks in rhymes, gives her feelings on the joys of reading books.
"Should be fun." Tyke guesses, giving his support to his best friend and crush.
"Great!!~" Starlight replies with joy, "So...what shall we read fir-"
Suddenly, screaming is heard from outside the doors of the library...and through the open doors, Oath Sworn spots her daughter, Fealty, and the young Prince Proudheart galloping down the hallway. They seem to be playing a loud game of tag from the quick look of it.
"Oh dear...they are at it again." Oath mentions with a sigh. "I'll have to go and deal with it...since it seems my husband has not." She turns to her sister and the other young teenagers, giving them a strict look, "You six will stay here and not go anywhere else while I am gone, correct?"
"Yes, Oath!~" The Yearling Six reply with a positive smile that shows their bright, white teeth...and a promise to obey.
"Good! Be right back~" The sandy-coated unicorn decked out in the Tambelon Royal Armor replies and gallops out through the big double doors and down the hallway, "Fealty! Proudheart! Stop running and screaming down the hallway this instant!!"
"So...what shall we read while we wait fer Oath?" Candy asks onto her best friends, "We have a whole library full of books ta browse through...so what do ya say, Starlight?"
Nothing but a small sigh is heard from the little pink alicorn who sits before her five best friends.
"Starlight...?" Tyke mutters, questioning the troubled look upon her face, "Are you...okay?"
"I...I don't know, Tyke. I don't...know." Starlight begins to confess what is on her mind, turning her sights from her hooves down on up to where her eyes meet the five teenagers she loves so much. "I have been worried as of late...."
"About what, darling?" Delicacy asks, "The whole centaur thing?"
"Well...yes." Starlight admits while her head shakes in a gentle motion from left to right and back, "That is the reason I invited you all here...and why I asked my little brother to distract Oath so I could talk to you all in private."
The five are surprised by this...but hold any questions so that they may listen to their best friend since they care for her well-being.
"Ever since this whole event started with many of the denizens of Tambelon and their hate towards the centaur arrivals, I have watching it very close...and at first I thought it was just a phase they would get through quick, but it did not." The brilliant alicorn gives her analysis to her friends upon her observation.
"Well, that was obvious...." Gust says with sarcasm.
"Gusty!!" Candy snaps at her coltfriend, nudging him with her hoof.
"Ow! Sorry...just saying it as it is...."
"No, Gust is right...for once." Starlight confesses, "It was obvious this little spat would not end so quickly...but then I studied the situation closer and discovered something."
"What did you see...that you can tell my friends and me?" Shani asks, eager to hear what her friend has discovered.
"Well, after the events of Applelulu...where most of our parents fought off the timberwolves and the capture of my father which our parents refuse to speak of what really happened...plus Delicacy becoming so afraid to confess to Godric, I put it all together and I think I may know what is spreading all this fear around." Starlight explains, taking in a deep breath and releasing it...giving her answer, "I believe that the one responsible...is Dismay."
"DISMAY??!!!" Candy, Gust, Type, Delicacy, and Shani all blurt out in shock when the name of the evil mare they fought years ago is mentioned.
"Shhh! Not so loud...!"
"Sorry, Star...but are ya sure its her?" Candy questions, "Ah mean, Ah've never questioned ya before, most of de time, but didn't we stop her long ago? Shouldn't she be...ya know...gone?"
"I thought that too...but we never did see if we defeated her in full: All we did was shoot some magic at her and she fled into the cave." Starlight reminds her friends on the events of long ago, "I just know all these events with the citizens being so afraid of the centaur that they fight with them, the timberwolves becoming brave to attack Candy's home due to all the fear, and then Delicacy unable to confess right away due to some unexplained fear. It cannot be a conquincidence. It has to be her: Dismay, the Mistress of Fear."
The five just sit or stand there, looking upon each other and pondering to whether or not Starlight's theory is true...or just something not worth wondering about.
One minutes later, Candy is the first to speak up, "Okay, Star...if Dismay really is back n' responsible fer spreading fear 'round Tambelon, why have ya gathered us here besides just ta takin' 'bout it?"
"Yeah, Starlight...." Tyke mutters, wishing not to question the young mare he cares for, "What...What can we find...here?"
Smiling at her friends giving her a chance, Starlight raises her foreleg and points with her polished hoof to the entire two-story room littered with bookshelves and books upon them, "The answer is here, of course...or I hope it will be. Since this library holds some of the most well-kept writings on Tambelon, Mythical Creatures, and more that my mother loves to keep for herself and her family to read...I feel that the answer may be here: A book that carries details of the creatures of old."
"And...you think we may find something on Dismay, and how to stop her, here?" Delicacy questions.
"Pretty much."
"I'm quite content with that." The beautful drama pony admits, "I had nothing else to do today, so I say let us begin our search for something that may help us save Tambelon from Dismay; I believe Starlight on this, since the reasons behind my fear of confessing my feelings were unknown...so I am willing to give this a chance."
Watching Delicacy move onward to search the shelves for a book or two on anything that could help them, the rest of the teenagers join in. Hoping their search may turn up something, especially if Starlight is correct on this, the six split up to cover more ground...especially with there being over a thousand books all around the library.

"Nothing here...!" Tyke calls out from the second floor of the library, all while hovering in the air and calling down to his friends from the balcony, "I couldn't find anything on ancient creatures or such, Starlight! Sorry...."
"It's okay, Tyke." The young princess calls out while she searches the top shelf of a bookcase on the first floor, "I'm not finding much down here either...sadly. What about you, Candy?"
"Nnope!" The earth pony with her blond mane braided as always replies, "Can't find anythin' here...!"
"All I can find are encyclopedias on common creatures of Tambelon...and nothing else." Delicacy informs her friends while using her magic to pull one book out at a time, skim through the pages, and then return said books to their proper place; Unlike the others, she apparently tries her best to keep things organized.
Shani searches through the books she finds within nearby where a floor pillow resides; This space is probably where Princess Twilight Sparkle spends her time reading when free time is given. "Dere is nothing day my eyes can find. Plus, I feel dat nothing shall be found by us six combined."
"We have to keep trying. There has to be something here that can help us...or else...or else we may never stop Dismay." Starlight reminds her friends, dreading not what fear may take hold of her home as it almost did years ago.
"If she is still around, Starlight...." Candy states, "But we will keep lookin fer a while longer...just on de whim ya may be right bout dis." She then turns her head around in wonder where a certain pony may be who has not checked in, "Gusty?! Where are ya?!"
No reply is given.
"Gusty?!!"
"Up here!!" The blue pegasai calls out, "Look what I found!!"
The five ponies all drop what books they may have been holding or reading, and rush on up the stairs and over to where their fast-flying friend awaits.
"Gust...where are you?" Starlight calls out for the one pony whom is not among she or her four other friends.
"In here...." Gust replies from the room that appears to be in between two bookshelves...with one in the middle that has been slid open; Apparently, this room the pegasai is within seems to be some kind of secret room.
"What in tarnation are ya doin' in here, Gusty?!" Candy blurts out upon peaking in and spoting her coltfriend sitting upon a comfy floor pillow surrounded by a few small bookshelves. "Was dis room here before?"
"Not really. I just pulled out a book while looking up here...and the bookshelf opened." Gust explains while he seems to be holding a comic book of sorts, "Just went inside, found this comic titled "Power Ponies" upon the table...and decided to take a break and read it~"
Candy Apple's only reply is but a roll of her eyes and a heavy sigh.
"What...?"
"Ya mean ta tell me you've been readin' dat dere comic fer de last ten minutes while we were searching hard fer a book day could help us against Dismay?!!"
Realizing he might have made his marefriend upset, Gust smiles in a nervous manner and shrugs, "Well...all that seraching was tiring. Besides, who doesn't love a good comic book now and then?"
"Ugh...."
"Be that as it may..." Starlight informs her friends once Candy and Gust cease their arguing, for the moment. "...we should not be in here. This is my mother's private study where she keeps most of her most valuable spellbooks and more."
"If that is so...then why, may I ask, does she has a comic book here?" Delicacy questions, pointing at the colorful reading material Gust holds in his hooves.
"I don't know...but some of these books are too advanced. We may want to put them down before something happens."
"Like what, Starlight?" Tyke asks, looking around the small study. "Maybe what we are looking for...could be in here?"
"I happen to agree with our changeling friend." Shani concurs, "If such a book is here, our search can finally be at an end."
"Maybe...but I still don't think we should be here." Starlight states with concern.
"Ahh, come on Starlight...we might as well look." Gust says to his worrying friend, "Besides, I never knew your mother liked comic books like this. Might as well enjoy it while-" Suddenly, the comic itself begins to glow with such strange magic. "Uh...what is going on?"
"What did ya do, Gusty?!" Candy snaps upon noticing the Power Pony comic glowing.
"I didn't do anything...!" He claims, throwing the book down onto the ground before him.
"We better leave before-" Starlight begins to suggest, only to gasp when the comic pages flip open and a strange force of sucktion starts to draw her in, "Oh no!! What is going on?!!"
"I DON'T KNO- AAAHHHH!!!!" Tyke yells, scared of the same force pulling him in too. "HEEEELP!!!"
"AAAAHHHHHH!!!!" The Yearling Six scream and attempt to run away...but the power of the magical suction becomes too great that they all are drawn into the comic book of the Power Ponies. Once they disappear into the pages, the book remains opened and the library falls silent as Starlight and her friends have been transported into another world...deep within the magical comic book.

"Uuuuugghh...." Gust moans, feeling his head spinning a little. "What...What happened...?" Rising up onto his hooves upon awakening and shaking off the feeling going on in his head, the curious pegasai gasps upon realizing he is no longer within the Royal Library of Tambelon Palace...but standing upon a rooftop within a huge city, "...Where am I?! This isn't the palace! This isn't even Tambelon...is it?!"
"Not sure, Gusty...." Candy Apple mutters from behind.
Turning himself around to look upon his marefriend, Gust gasps in shock to see not only her, but the rest of his friends all decked out in colorful costumes and such. Recognizing right away who and what they are, based on what he read within the comic a while ago, the prideful pegasus pony shakes his head in disbelief, "Holy Ponyfeathers!! Look at you guys!!"
"Look at yourself, Gust." Starlight points out to the costume he dawns as well. "What is going on?"
"I think we are...the Power Ponies!" Gust claims upon what he sees.
"POWER PONIES?!!" The five costumed friends all blurt out in shock, looking upon themselves and their friends...both confused but amazed by the outfits they dawn.
"Candy...you are...the Fearless Foal-Gear: The mare who can create a silver suit of amor around her body, fly, and fire lazers from her mechanical hooves!!" Gust informs his marefriend, amazed by her mechanical armor and helmet.
Taking a minute to look upon herself, Candy admires the sign of machinery upon her body and how her visor can see more than her own eyes could ever. "How bout dat!!"
"Shani...I think you are...Camo Mare-O: The fastest archer who can hide among anything with her special camoflauge suit!!"
"Dis is quite de look...and something I would definitely be in a comic book!" The curious zebra admits, finding her outfit along with the bow and quiver of various arrows to feel more than what she does back at her home in the Southcape Tribe.
"Delicacy...you are The Mane-atee: The hero who can control water from anywhere, such as lakes and water pipes, and even summon Water Ponies to her aid in times of great need!"
"How delightful~" Delicacy admits, admiring the slick suit of green that feels comfortable and water-proof. Plus, the sparkling diamonds decorated upon her mane bring out a delightful giggle in her.
"Tyke!"
"What...?" The nervous teenage changeling mutters, worried a little about his colors of red and blue...only wondering what who or what he is.
"I think you are Colt-Bolt: The member of the Power Ponies who can sense danger and teleport away from it whenever said danger tries to sneak up on you." Gust reveals based on what he has read.
"Oh...uh...that's cool, I guess."
"Yeah!" Gust admits, only to turn upon himself and look upon his purple costume and the cyclone necklace he has around his neck, "I think I am Kaboom: The dashing and handsome flyer who can charge in like a torpedo, with a cyclone of wind to hit upon impact along with me...creating a large "kaboom" upon impact~"
"That is neat, Gust...but...what am I?" Starlight questions upon gazing at her own unique and stylish outfit.
"Not sure, Starlight. I never read all the way into the comic to see what your powers were." Gust reveals sadly, "All it said was that your hero's name was just the same name she had and that her powers were not yet realized. So...I guess we call you...Starlight?"
All she gives is but a mere shake of her head, "Wow...that's lame. Very lame...."
"Sorry, I never got a chance to reach that part in the comic...but I think you do have something special within. Just not sure what it is." Gust, or Kaboom, admits. "I guess we will have to see later."
"Ah guess...but right now, we need to find out where we are and how to get back to the library." Candy, or Foal-Gear, informs her best friends and fellow superheroes. "Where are we anyway?"
"I think we are in...Maretropolis." Starlight guesses, walking on over to the edge of the roof they stand upon and gazes out onto the city of lights and tall buildings.
The rest of her friends gather around her and gaze out in amazement to where they are now. First, they get drawn into a comic book of superheroes and now have become those said heroes...and now stand among a great city that seems as beautiful as Tambelon City herself, especially at night.
"Wow...it is so big and...beautiful." The Mane-atee admits once her emerald eyes gaze upon the greatness of such a city she nor any of her friends have ever beheld before in their lives, "I have seen Tambelon City and even Cumulai's grand beauty at night when all the lights are on, but this is beyond anything I have ever seen."
"Same here!" Kaboom concurs with his superhero friend, "I can only imagine how far this city spreads out. I say we explore and find some crime to fight!"
"Hold yer horses dere, Gusty." Foal-Gear places her metal hoof upon the back of her coltfriend to prevent fim from flying off anywhere, "Ah think de first thing we gotta do is find us a way outta here. We can't stay in dis here city fer long...since we have ta get back to de library."
"I agree." Starlight supports her best friend and leader, only to return her eyes onto the sights of the city itself, "I cannot help but recall my mother telling me about such a city name Maretropolis long ago when she was young. Not sure if she meant a real city outside a comic book...or if she and her friends were hear once before us."
"Not sure on dat one, Star...but Ah myself recall mah Aunt Applejack tellin' stories bout her being a superhero long time ago back in Equestria." Foal-Gear recalls, feeling the need to spin such a story.
"I think my mother told me a similar tale too." Kaboom informs to his surprise.
"I too have heard such a tale from both my mother and father." The Mane-atee speaks up when the subject seems to show more of a connection than mere coincidence. "Since it seems these stories all appear to be similar, perhaps we are not the first ponies or otherwise to be drawn into a comic book like this."
"From your tales, I would have to say we are not." Camo Mare-O agrees with her fellow power ponies, "But, it may be best to explore than to stand around a lot."
"I agree, Shani-I mean Camo Mare-O." Colt-Bolt says to his friends, "Maybe we can find a way out if we explore around."
"Sounds good to us!!~" The other four power ponies agree with their zebra and changeling comrades-in-costumes...and set off. Using their own wings or powers, or power suits, the Power Ponies manages to at least use their new abilities to move down off the building the stand on and traverse through the streets of Maretropolis...hoping to find an answer to escaping the comic book and returning to their world.

"How astouding~" The Mane-atee admires her unique powers upon using her magic to summon water out of the nearby fire hydrant, "I never knew I could do this: Use water as a means of walking~" She giggles while feeling the wave of the blue liquid raise her up off the ground just a little...and moving her forward. "It feel as though I am what some may call...surfing~"
"Don't let it get to yer head, Delicacy." Foal-Gear informs her comrade and friend...all while trying her hardest to work out the rocket boosters on her hooves, "Now if only dese blasted things would work n' let me fly...!"
"It'll come to you soon, Candy." Kaboom says to his marefriend as he hovers above her via his wings, "I still have yet to see the full extent of my power...but I am looking forward to it."
"I hope for the same...as it says by may name." Camo Mare-O mentions while focusing on her camon outfit to turn her invisible...or have her blend into the background. Either way. "I hope to master dis here power...within de next few minutes of de hour."
"I...hope so...too." Colt-Bolt mutters, showing a great deal of nervousness by the amount of shaking he gives off; His eyes gaze around...watching for anything that may come out and surprise them. "I can't help but feel...a little scared. I mean, this whole place is...different compared to where we use to...be."
"Its okay, Tyke." Starlight reassures her best friend and crush, hovering on down and to his side, "As long as we stick together and work as a team, there will be nothing that can defeat us: The Power Ponies~"
"Y-Y-Yeah...." The nervous hero in red and blue agrees with some doubt to what may be out there within this big city.
"Hey, look!" Kaboom informs his friends from what his eyes spot just ahead of them in front of what appears to be City Hall...where a large crowd of pony citizens have gathered. "Maybe we should go and see what those ponies are up to."
Seeing no other reason to turn away from those that may be of help to them, the six Power Ponies move in closer to see just what the citizens of Maretropolis are up to.
"BAN THE FREAKS, MAYOR!!!" A few ponies bark at the well-dressed mare standing atop the stairs leading up to the town hall.
"WE DON'T NEED THEM HERE!!!" Many other pony citizens cry out while holding their picket signs high in the air via their own magic or hooves. "ALL THEY DO IS CAUSE TROUBLE!!!"
"Please...Please, citizens of Maretropolis!" The grey mare mayor of the city speaks out those she watches over. "I know times are tough...but I will spare no expense to see to it that all is kept in order with these superheroes!" She says into the microphone upon her podium. "Let us not forget that some do help us in times of-"
"GET RID OF THEM!!" Everypony cries out, "THEY BRING NOTHING BUT TROUBLE!!!"
The roar and ranting of the crowds continues on and on...no matter what the Mayor does to calm them down.
"LOOK!!!" One pony screams to grab the attention of the others...pointing her hoof out at the approaching Power Ponies, "THERE ARE SOME NOW!!"
The moment everypony turns around to see that one of their own speaking the truth...and the disgusting sight of six colorful superhero ponies known to all as the Power Ponies...brings them all to turn from shouting at the Mayor to the ones they despise a lot more.
"Uh...this doesn't look good." Kaboom mutters, "Here I thought we would be recieving a warm welcome...but I think everypony here just wants us gone."
"Really...?" Foal-Gear says with sarcasm, "What was yer first clue, Gusty? Dem signs dat clearly say dey don't want us around?"
"Just stating the fact...and that maybe we should get out of here!"
The sight of the apporaching crowd of what now appears to be more of an angry mob only bring the other four to concur with Kaboom and Foal-Gear.
"Maybe we should get out of here...." Colt-Bolt mutters to his friends.
"I don't understand...." Starlight says with utter shock to the sight of angry and distrustful citizens shouting at them, "Why would they hate us? I thought we were heros of this world...just like my mother way years ago?"
"I do not know, Starlight...but I say we should probably make an exited before we lose our chance." The Mane-atee suggests, "I would hate for them to start through rotten fruit or vegetables at us and ruin my beautiful mane."
"Maybe we should see why dey hate us...before we get out of here on de next bus." Camo Mare-O also suggests, hating to runaway without understanding why the ponies would turn on them.
Just then, a large beam of magic is shot down from the building right across from the Town Hall...and it blasts a large chuck out of the front. Everypony screams in shock...and the Mayor is able to leap on down to avoid the rubble falling down and crushing her podium.
"What the hay just happened?!!!" The Mayor bellows while catching her breath, only to turns her eyes from the crowd of scared citizens to the building in front of her...and the figure that stands at the very top. "Who...or what...is THAT?!!"
Everypony, citizen and superhero alike, all turn their sights above...to where the bright sky starts to become covered by storm clouds...and spot a tall, red mare in blue and silver armor...standing before all with a wicked grin upon her face; The bright flash of the lightning allows for the evil mare to be seen all the easier by all those below her.
"BEHOLD, FOOLISH PONIES!!!" The mysterious mare bellows with a maniacal laugh to follow, "YOUR OPPRESIVE REIGN OVER THIS CITY HAS COME TO AN END!! A NEW ONE HAS COME...UNDER THE RULE OF THE ONE...AND ONLY...REIN!!!"
The various ponies all gas in shock and fright...just as the clouds roll in to cover the sky and make it appear as thought it were night. Lightning strikes of blue appear all around...and one behind it all is none other than the mare who calls herself Rein.
"Are we...all here?" Starlight asks onto her friends, hoping they all made it to the rooftop of the building far from city hall.
"We're here, Star...." Foal-Gear informs upon touching down onto the rooftop, deactivating her rocket boosters on all four of her mechanized legs, "Ah think we lost dem...."
"That is not all we lost." Kaboom reminds his friends while hovering in the air, prefering to remain flying, "We lost to Rein, lost our chance at rescuing the mayor, and we lost any chance of being seen as heroes in the eyes of all those ponies."
"Yeah...." Colt-Bolt conurs upon teleporting to where his friends are all gathered, "I can't believe...we hesitated and...and allowed her to win."
The Mane-atee arrives upon the roof with the aid of the water wave she summons to levitate her up onto it...only to release the water and allow it to splash down into the alleyway below. "I do say...we really blew it back there."
Camo Mare-O instantly appears once she turns off her camoflauge vest...allowing all of her to be seen, "Dis really has been a terrible day. Leaving dis comic might be de best way."
"Yeah...." The others all agree without a second thought; After everything they have been through in just under an hour after being transported into the comic, the fun of being superheroes seems to have been taken away...just the same as the mayor and the hope of the city has been.
"NO!!" Starlight stomps her hoof onto the surface of where she and her friends all stand upon or hover above, "We cannot just abandon everypony here and leave Rein to conquer Maretropolis!!"
The other five Power Ponies gasp all at once upon hearing their best friend speak up in such a tone.
"It doesn't matter if this is just a comic book; This is but another realm connected to the world...much like Canterlot High from the tales my mother told me about." Starlight explains to her friends with such good points, "The point I am making is...that even if this is not our world, we should not leave it just because things are not going our way!"
"But Starlight-" Kaboom tries to reply, only to be cut off when his mouth is closed by her magic.
"No buts, Gust!" Starlight says with a strict tone, "You are the one who knows more about all of this than we do...in the ten minutes you read most of it...so you should be agreeing with me here!! I mean, didn't you first say when we arrived that we are Power Ponies and are heroes?!"
"I...I...I did."
"Then shouldn't we be acting like Power Ponies...and save the day?!"
"We should...but..." Colt-Bolt mutters at first in support of his best friend, but feels a reason of otherwise upon his mind, "...the ponies here...hate us. I mean, what if Rein was right? What if...we are fighting...on the wrong side?"
"Yeah...." The others all concur, feeling that the changeling may make a good point.
"It doesn't matter what they think!" Starlight states with another stomp of her hoof, "Those ponies are just scared and do not understand ponies like us...who have unique gifts; What matters is what we do with them...and Rein was pushed so hard that she chose to hate all ponies weaker than her. But we don't have to follow her path...because we are the Power Ponies, and we chose to defend Maretropolis from any evil that threatens it."
Such a speech seems to bring out motivation in the other five super ponies...along with smiles to their lips.
"Also, it doesn't matter if we get credit or praise for what we do." Starlight adds, "What matters is the good we do...which is reward itself."
"By golly...Starlight is right!!" Foal-Gear comes to agree with her best friend, "We are de Power Ponies and we should be protectin' dis here city...no matter what!"
"I completely agree!" The Mane-atee concurs, brushing back her sparkling mane.
"I'm in!!" Kaboom joins in with his best friends, "There is no way I am leaving this book until we stop Rein and save the day!!"
"I agree to dat, my friend!" Camo Mare-O supports, "Let us do battle with Rein until her terror is at an end!"
"Yeah...I wanna see this through before we return home!" Colt-Bolt stomps his hoof down, showing his determination to protect Maretropolise from Rein and her evil.
"Thank you, everypony...." Starlight expresses with a warm smile upon her lips, "Thank you, so much."
"You're Welcome, Star." Foal-Gear expresses, only to turn to all her friends at once, "Saddle up, everypony! We're gonna kick some flank over at the colossum!!"
"Yeah!!" All the Power Ponies reply. Together, they activate their unique powers and those while the ability to fly take to the skies...while the rest move across the rooftops from one building to the next.
The Power Ponies...are ready for action.

"W-What do...you want with...me?" The mayor asks while she remains tied up upon the high platform of the colosseum.
"SILENCE!!" Rein demands of her prisoner, "YOU ARE NOT IMPORTANT! WHAT IS...ARE THE SIX THAT WILL BE JOINING US SOON. ONCE THEY ARRIVE AND JOIN MY CAUSE...MARETROPOLIS WILL BELONG TO THOSE YOUR KIND HAVE CAST OUT!!!"
"Six...?" The mayor questions, only to gasp, "The Power Ponies?! No...No, they will never join you!!"
"YOU SEEM SO SURE OF IT!!" The wicked mare dawned in her silver and blue armor snears, "ALL YOU LESSER PONIES HAVE DONE WAS LOOK DOWN ON US WHEN ALL WE WANTED WAS TO LIVE...WHILE SOME OF USE ONLY WISHED TO HELP!! TODAY...YOU WILL GET TO SEE YOUR SO-CALLED HEROES MAKE THEIR CHOICE FOR THE FUTURE OF THIS CITY!!!"
"You got that right, Rein!!" The hollering of the Power Pony known by all as Starlight is heard within the center of the ring...around the bleachers of the colosseum.
Turning her attention from her prisoner to down below, the wicked mare Rein's frown changes to that of a grin once her eyes view the six Power Ponies that have arrived at long last, "WELL, WELL! ABOUT TIME YOU SIX WOULD SHOW...BUT NOW THAT YOU ARE HERE, WE CAN BEGIN OUR CONQUEST FOR ABSOLUTE DOMINATION FOR ALL PONIES WITH UNIQUE POWERS; NEVER AGAIN...WITH WE BE RULED NOR PUSHED AROUND BY THOSE WHO ARE WEAKER AND INFERIOR!"
"Save it for somepony who cares!" Kaboom scoffs, "We are not interest in anything you are selling!"
"But...we are not buying anything." Colt-Bolt informs.
"It was a figure of speech, Tyke...."
Rein just stares down at them...confused. "ARE YOU SERIOUSLY PLANNING TO SIDE WITH THESE...THESE LESSER PONIES INSTEAD OF YOUR OWN KIND?!"
"Yes...Yes we are!" Starlight claims, stepping forward ahead of her friends, "Because being a Power Pony is about protecting the good and the opressed no matter what. Whether or not we recieve credit or praise for our hard work, what matters is doing the right thing...because performing good deeds is reward itself!"
"YEAH!!" The other five pony heroes shout, standing by their friend and their decision.
"TRAITORS...." Rein mutters, only to shout it. "TRAITORS TO YOUR OWN CAUSE!!" With a firm wave of her head, Rein fires a powerful beam down at the Power Ponies, "TAKE THIS!!!"
Starlight summons a powerful magical barrier to protect her friends, with the help of Foal-Gear and The Mane-atee: They use their water and mechanical abilites to add to the shield...only for it to not be enough. The blast knocks them back...but the barrier they put up manages to protect them from taking any damage.
"STABLEHOOD!! ATTACK THESE TRAITORS!!!" Rein orders her family of unique ponies all around the colosseum to move from their positions and attack.
"Looks like we're gonna have ta split up and take down dem varment!!" Foal-Gear speculates, "Everypony...give em all ya got!!"
"YEAH!!!" The other five all concur, readying their powers and abilities to stop Rein and her Stablehood.
"POWER PONIES, GO!!!"
With those words ordered by their leader Foal-Gear, the other five all split up into six sections of the colosseum ring and hold off the minions. however, Starlight herself decides to take on Rein...determined to defeat her and see just who is the more powerful wielder of powerful magic. The battle for Maretropolis...has begun.

"Come n' get some!!" Foal-Gear taunts the pony minions that attack in groups.
The Stablehood ponies all show signs of fast speed, powerful magic, and even the ability to jump high in the air; All of them vary, but in the eues of the leader of the new Power Ponies, they seem easy to take down all the same.
"Here we go!!" She says to herself, and aims her from legs forward...and fires a bright pink beam at each and every minion that she comes within range; Thanks to her sensor visor and radar, Foal-Gear is able to tell just when the minions are coming in too close, allowing her to react to the shots just in the knick of time.
"Now dis Ah could get use ta!!"
"Time to make a boom!!~" Kaboom says with a snicker, "I've got to use that more often."
Flying his way on up high into the air, all while spinning round and around in a spiraling circle, Kaboom reaches out over the colosseum...only to shoot on down like a torpedo. Taking a huge cyclone of wind with with, the swift pony of the wind crashes down onto the ground...sending out a shockwave a wide that knocks around ten minions away and down.
"KABOOM!!!" Shouts the blue pegasai in purple...calling out his signature strength for all to hear and know.
A group of five Stablehood minions charge in to attack the young zebra mare...hoping to catch her before she disappears. However, they are too late:
"Time to go...and deliver a blow!" Camo Mare-O states, focusing enough to have her facepaint glow...causing the special adaptable camoflauge jacket to turn her completely invisible.
"What?! Where did...she go?!" One minion gasps at the sudden disappearance of the one Power Pony.
"I don't know...!" Another mutters, turning her head all around to see just where Camo Mare-O may have done.
"I am right here!~" A voice heard but not seen speaks from behind the group of Stablehood minions.
The group turn around in a split second, only to feel the force of five arrows fired at them at once: One with a plunger head to silence one pony; Another that has a boxing glow fist that knocks out the minion beside the other; An arrow that releases a new that traps the others. Within seconds, after this sudden surprise attack, the five minions of the Stabehood are down and out.
"Now wasn't dat a stunning surprise?~" Camo Mare-O teases in question upon reappearing before her defeated opponents, "I say it was, as well as the victory prize~"
"Ugh! Such ruffians!" The Mane-atee mutters while she watches a bunch of Stablehood members...all dressed up in raggedy outfits that seem to have come from the street itself...charge at her. "I think a bath is in order...with a little assistance~" Raising her head up high, the horn of this beautiful Power Pony releases a wave of magic...signalling aid from the sea that surrounds the coast this very structure she stands within lies upon.
The ground suddenly shakes a little...and the floor belong the hooves of the Stablehood minions cracks and opens.
"What is happening?!!" They all shout in shock...and soon recieve their answer:
Water rises from the hole in the ground made by the quake...and surfing the very wave of water are none other than three Water Ponies of the sea; These pony-like beings swim through the water...and upon moving in close to the enemies of the mare they protect and assist, spin around and smack them with their tails.
"SHO-BE...DO!!!" They shout as theiy battlecry...knocking the minions out within one strike.
Once her group of enemies are down and out, Delicacy smiles onto the Water Ponies that have come to her call...and giggles, "Thank you ever so much. That was one stylish method of cleaning up the trash~"
"Oh dear...." Colt-Bolt says with a gulp...watching as two minions with fast speed circle him.
"You can't catch us, weakling!!" They both mock, moving at such high speed around the nervous Power Pony that the moment to strike seems good as any now.
Suddenly, Colt-Bolt can feel his horn glowing within a split second...which is his very sonar sense informing him that danger is about to strike him. Without a second to waste thinking on it, the young hero summons his magic to teleport him away.
At the same time, The two fast minions move in to strike...only to miss once Colt-Bolt flees. The hard impact leaves them both with a majoy headache, bringing them to collapse onto the ground.
Reappearing upon the two knocked out Stablehood members, Colt-Bolt realizes that his power saved him and won him this fight. He squees with joy...realizing how important and strong he can be with the ability to sense and escape.

At that moment, the entire Stablehood gathered have been beaten by the five Power Ponies...leaving only the leader, Rein, left. The Power Ponies all turn to the air where the said wicked mare and their friend Starlight are doing battle.
"YOU THINK YOU ARE A MATCH FOR ME...IN YOUR CURRENT STATE, STARLIGHT?!!" Rein bellows while moving through the air thanks to her magic that allows her to fly without the need of wings, "YOU COULD HAVE BEEN MY MOST POWERFUL ALLY...BUT INSTEAD YOU ARE A FOOL TO SIDE WITH THE PONIES OF MARETROPOLIS!!!"
"Enough!!" Starlight screams, firing her magic at Rein with all her might...only to gasp when it just bounces off her.
"LIKE I SAID: YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR ME IN YOUR CURRENT STATE!! EVEN YOUR MOST POWERFUL SPELL CANNOT HARM ME...SO LONG AS I HAVE MY OWN MAGIC TO PROTECT ME!!"
Realizing that every time a spell is shot, it just bounces off the all-powerful supervillain. "I've got to think up something...or Rein might just win this!!"
"TAKE THIS!!!" Rein bellows, firing a powerful beam of magic directly at her target: Starlight.
Gasping, the alicorn Power Pony summons a barrier to block the spell...but the force of the high-level magic only pushes her back; Starlight gives all she has to remain where she hovers...but may fall soon if the beam hits her.
"GIVE IT UP, STARLIGHT!! YOU...CANNOT WIN!!!"
"Yes...I...CAN!!!" Starlight screams at the top of her lungs. "YES...I...CAN!!!" She repeats once more...feeling her angry rising until her whole body is covered in magical flames. Breaking free of the bream's path, Starlight rises high into the air...and spreaks her flaming wings out wide; The very brightness shining from her body parts the storm clouds and brings the day back.
Starlight has become...The Blazer.
"WHAT...WHAT IS THIS?!!" Rein gasps in shock to the one and only Blazer...the most powerful Power Pony in existance among all others. "HOW CAN THIS...BE?!!"
Replying not a word, the Blazer fires a flaming bream of magical energy down at Rein...which hits her in full and destroys her magical armor. The evil mare has lost her most powerful form of protection just like that.
"NOOOOO!!!!" Rein cries out...and feels her unique power fading. Without anything to keep her levitating, she falls onto the ground and onto the pile of her unconsious minions. Refusing to lose here, the now de-armoed mare tries to summon her magic, but no form of power is felt. It is all gone. "No. This...This cannot be. I'm...I'm...."
"ONE OF THEM!!!" Starlight roars and neighs so loud that it echoes through the entire city beyond the colosseum. Her final words were a form of mockery to the defeated mare of Maretropolis...and how she has been reduced to a simple pony like all the others she has hated. A fitting end for the end of Rein's reign of terror.
With the evil vanquished, the Blazer lowers herself to the ground. From there, the magical flames disperse...returning the might Power Pony to her original self: Starlight.
"Wow!! That was...incredible!!!" Kaboom admits. His eyes are wider than his mouth for a few seconds, along with his very jaw dropped in shock, "If only I read the comic more...I could have see this outcome!!"
"Kinda glad ya didn't Gusty." Foal-Gear implies, "Better ta see our Starlight gettin' all fired up...literally...and beatin' down dat evil mare!!"
"I agree. Twas such beauty~" The Mane-atee admits, smiling still from what she has just witnessed.
"You saved de day, Starlight. You beat de wrong in de name of what was right!" Camo Mare-O praises her best friend, places her hoof upon her back as a show of congradulating.
"Well done, Starlight. You were...so amazing." Colt-Bolt praises his best friend, blushing a little at her.
"Awwww...thank you, everypony." Starlight expresses her gratitude with a smile...and a blush towards the changeling she admires so very much.
"You saved me and prehaps all of Maretropolis!!" The Mayor, who appears to be free of the magical sphere that held her, praises the Power Ponies for her rescue. "You are the heroes we knew you to be!!"
Just then, the sound of applaud is hear all around the colosseum: So many pony citizens appear to have arrived just in time to have witnessed the downfall of Rein and her Stablehood...and the heroic Power Ponies whom are responsible for saving their home from evil. From the clapping of their hooves together or the stomping upon the ground below them...it seems that any doubt and hatred has vanished along with Rein's magic. The Power Ponies...are hailed as heroes once more.
"THREE CHEERS FOR THE POWER PONIES!!"
"YOU ARE OUR HEROES!!!"
"WAY TO GO!!!"
Praise and cheering continues throughout the stadium...without pause.
Speechless to the amount of praise and acceptance given to them by the sounds of applause all around, the Power Ponies stand tall together in victory to their teamwork and believing in the great cause of righteousness to have seen them through.
Just then, within only seconds after, the Power Ponies feel the force of magic beginning to pull them up into the air...which can only mean that by achieving victory, the comic book is allowing them to return to the real world...and back to the library from wence they came.
"Looks like it is time to go back." Starlight guesses, "I will admit this was quite an adventure...but one we should not try again for a long time."
"I agree." Kaboom concurs, "No more comic books for me...at least for the next week."
"Darn right!" Foal-Gear states with a firm voice, "Ah'll be makin' sure ya don't get us yanked into another world like dis again...Gusty!"
The rest of the Power Ponies all laugh, but agree the same.
With one final glance upon the crowd of the citizens of Marestropolis, the Power Ponies...known in their world as the Yearling Six...bid a fond farewell and return to their own world. However...a day may come when the next issue may call for their help again. When that time comes, the Power Ponies will be there...as the Heroes of Maretropolis.

"Thank you, Oath." The lovely Princess Starlight expresses her gratitude to her big sister figure and protector, only to turn to her five best friends and smile, "So...you guys ready to have some fun with reading?~"
"Eeyup!!" Candy Apple, the leader of their little group, answers with a smile upon her lip lips.
"I guess...." Gust replies, showing little interest. "Then again...if there is something here on Daring Do, or at least a comic book, then I may find it a lot more interesting."
"I do not mind reading a little. A good book is always as fun as relaxing in bed while wearing silk pajamas~" Delicacy answers, brushing back her long, silky mane to show off her radiant beauty.
"Reading can be quite a delight...especially when doing so from day until night." Shani, the zebra who only speaks in rhymes, gives her feelings on the joys of reading books.
"Should be fun." Tyke guesses, giving his support to his best friend and crush.
"Great!!~" Starlight replies with joy, "So...what shall we read fir-"
Suddenly, screaming is heard from outside the doors of the library...and through the open doors, Oath Sworn spots her daughter, Fealty, and the young Prince Proudheart galloping down the hallway. They seem to be playing a loud game of tag from the quick look of it.
"Oh dear...they are at it again." Oath mentions with a sigh. "I'll have to go and deal with it...since it seems my husband has not." She turns to her sister and the other young teenagers, giving them a strict look, "You six will stay here and not go anywhere else while I am gone, correct?"
"Yes, Oath!~" The Yearling Six reply with a positive smile that shows their bright, white teeth...and a promise to obey.
"Good! Be right back~" The sandy-coated unicorn decked out in the Tambelon Royal Armor replies and gallops out through the big double doors and down the hallway, "Fealty! Proudheart! Stop running and screaming down the hallway this instant!!"
"So...what shall we read while we wait fer Oath?" Candy asks onto her best friends, "We have a whole library full of books ta browse through...so what do ya say, Starlight?"
Nothing but a small sigh is heard from the little pink alicorn who sits before her five best friends.
"Starlight...?" Tyke mutters, questioning the troubled look upon her face, "Are you...okay?"
"I...I don't know, Tyke. I don't...know." Starlight begins to confess what is on her mind, turning her sights from her hooves down on up to where her eyes meet the five teenagers she loves so much. "I have been worried as of late...."
"About what, darling?" Delicacy asks, "The whole centaur thing?"
"Well...yes." Starlight admits while her head shakes in a gentle motion from left to right and back, "That is the reason I invited you all here...and why I asked my little brother to distract Oath so I could talk to you all in private."
The five are surprised by this...but hold any questions so that they may listen to their best friend since they care for her well-being.
"Ever since this whole event started with many of the denizens of Tambelon and their hate towards the centaur arrivals, I have watching it very close...and at first I thought it was just a phase they would get through quick, but it did not." The brilliant alicorn gives her analysis to her friends upon her observation.
"Well, that was obvious...." Gust says with sarcasm.
"Gusty!!" Candy snaps at her coltfriend, nudging him with her hoof.
"Ow! Sorry...just saying it as it is...."
"No, Gust is right...for once." Starlight confesses, "It was obvious this little spat would not end so quickly...but then I studied the situation closer and discovered something."
"What did you see...that you can tell my friends and me?" Shani asks, eager to hear what her friend has discovered.
"Well, after the events of Applelulu...where most of our parents fought off the timberwolves and the capture of my father which our parents refuse to speak of what really happened...plus Delicacy becoming so afraid to confess to Godric, I put it all together and I think I may know what is spreading all this fear around." Starlight explains, taking in a deep breath and releasing it...giving her answer, "I believe that the one responsible...is Dismay."
"DISMAY??!!!" Candy, Gust, Type, Delicacy, and Shani all blurt out in shock when the name of the evil mare they fought years ago is mentioned.
"Shhh! Not so loud...!"
"Sorry, Star...but are ya sure its her?" Candy questions, "Ah mean, Ah've never questioned ya before, most of de time, but didn't we stop her long ago? Shouldn't she be...ya know...gone?"
"I thought that too...but we never did see if we defeated her in full: All we did was shoot some magic at her and she fled into the cave." Starlight reminds her friends on the events of long ago, "I just know all these events with the citizens being so afraid of the centaur that they fight with them, the timberwolves becoming brave to attack Candy's home due to all the fear, and then Delicacy unable to confess right away due to some unexplained fear. It cannot be a conquincidence. It has to be her: Dismay, the Mistress of Fear."
The five just sit or stand there, looking upon each other and pondering to whether or not Starlight's theory is true...or just something not worth wondering about.
One minutes later, Candy is the first to speak up, "Okay, Star...if Dismay really is back n' responsible fer spreading fear 'round Tambelon, why have ya gathered us here besides just ta takin' 'bout it?"
"Yeah, Starlight...." Tyke mutters, wishing not to question the young mare he cares for, "What...What can we find...here?"
Smiling at her friends giving her a chance, Starlight raises her foreleg and points with her polished hoof to the entire two-story room littered with bookshelves and books upon them, "The answer is here, of course...or I hope it will be. Since this library holds some of the most well-kept writings on Tambelon, Mythical Creatures, and more that my mother loves to keep for herself and her family to read...I feel that the answer may be here: A book that carries details of the creatures of old."
"And...you think we may find something on Dismay, and how to stop her, here?" Delicacy questions.
"Pretty much."
"I'm quite content with that." The beautful drama pony admits, "I had nothing else to do today, so I say let us begin our search for something that may help us save Tambelon from Dismay; I believe Starlight on this, since the reasons behind my fear of confessing my feelings were unknown...so I am willing to give this a chance."
Watching Delicacy move onward to search the shelves for a book or two on anything that could help them, the rest of the teenagers join in. Hoping their search may turn up something, especially if Starlight is correct on this, the six split up to cover more ground...especially with there being over a thousand books all around the library.
*********************************************
TEN MINUTES LATER
"Nothing here...!" Tyke calls out from the second floor of the library, all while hovering in the air and calling down to his friends from the balcony, "I couldn't find anything on ancient creatures or such, Starlight! Sorry...."
"It's okay, Tyke." The young princess calls out while she searches the top shelf of a bookcase on the first floor, "I'm not finding much down here either...sadly. What about you, Candy?"
"Nnope!" The earth pony with her blond mane braided as always replies, "Can't find anythin' here...!"
"All I can find are encyclopedias on common creatures of Tambelon...and nothing else." Delicacy informs her friends while using her magic to pull one book out at a time, skim through the pages, and then return said books to their proper place; Unlike the others, she apparently tries her best to keep things organized.
Shani searches through the books she finds within nearby where a floor pillow resides; This space is probably where Princess Twilight Sparkle spends her time reading when free time is given. "Dere is nothing day my eyes can find. Plus, I feel dat nothing shall be found by us six combined."
"We have to keep trying. There has to be something here that can help us...or else...or else we may never stop Dismay." Starlight reminds her friends, dreading not what fear may take hold of her home as it almost did years ago.
"If she is still around, Starlight...." Candy states, "But we will keep lookin fer a while longer...just on de whim ya may be right bout dis." She then turns her head around in wonder where a certain pony may be who has not checked in, "Gusty?! Where are ya?!"
No reply is given.
"Gusty?!!"
"Up here!!" The blue pegasai calls out, "Look what I found!!"
The five ponies all drop what books they may have been holding or reading, and rush on up the stairs and over to where their fast-flying friend awaits.
"Gust...where are you?" Starlight calls out for the one pony whom is not among she or her four other friends.
"In here...." Gust replies from the room that appears to be in between two bookshelves...with one in the middle that has been slid open; Apparently, this room the pegasai is within seems to be some kind of secret room.
"What in tarnation are ya doin' in here, Gusty?!" Candy blurts out upon peaking in and spoting her coltfriend sitting upon a comfy floor pillow surrounded by a few small bookshelves. "Was dis room here before?"
"Not really. I just pulled out a book while looking up here...and the bookshelf opened." Gust explains while he seems to be holding a comic book of sorts, "Just went inside, found this comic titled "Power Ponies" upon the table...and decided to take a break and read it~"
Candy Apple's only reply is but a roll of her eyes and a heavy sigh.
"What...?"
"Ya mean ta tell me you've been readin' dat dere comic fer de last ten minutes while we were searching hard fer a book day could help us against Dismay?!!"
Realizing he might have made his marefriend upset, Gust smiles in a nervous manner and shrugs, "Well...all that seraching was tiring. Besides, who doesn't love a good comic book now and then?"
"Ugh...."
"Be that as it may..." Starlight informs her friends once Candy and Gust cease their arguing, for the moment. "...we should not be in here. This is my mother's private study where she keeps most of her most valuable spellbooks and more."
"If that is so...then why, may I ask, does she has a comic book here?" Delicacy questions, pointing at the colorful reading material Gust holds in his hooves.
"I don't know...but some of these books are too advanced. We may want to put them down before something happens."
"Like what, Starlight?" Tyke asks, looking around the small study. "Maybe what we are looking for...could be in here?"
"I happen to agree with our changeling friend." Shani concurs, "If such a book is here, our search can finally be at an end."
"Maybe...but I still don't think we should be here." Starlight states with concern.
"Ahh, come on Starlight...we might as well look." Gust says to his worrying friend, "Besides, I never knew your mother liked comic books like this. Might as well enjoy it while-" Suddenly, the comic itself begins to glow with such strange magic. "Uh...what is going on?"
"What did ya do, Gusty?!" Candy snaps upon noticing the Power Pony comic glowing.
"I didn't do anything...!" He claims, throwing the book down onto the ground before him.
"We better leave before-" Starlight begins to suggest, only to gasp when the comic pages flip open and a strange force of sucktion starts to draw her in, "Oh no!! What is going on?!!"
"I DON'T KNO- AAAHHHH!!!!" Tyke yells, scared of the same force pulling him in too. "HEEEELP!!!"
"AAAAHHHHHH!!!!" The Yearling Six scream and attempt to run away...but the power of the magical suction becomes too great that they all are drawn into the comic book of the Power Ponies. Once they disappear into the pages, the book remains opened and the library falls silent as Starlight and her friends have been transported into another world...deep within the magical comic book.

"Uuuuugghh...." Gust moans, feeling his head spinning a little. "What...What happened...?" Rising up onto his hooves upon awakening and shaking off the feeling going on in his head, the curious pegasai gasps upon realizing he is no longer within the Royal Library of Tambelon Palace...but standing upon a rooftop within a huge city, "...Where am I?! This isn't the palace! This isn't even Tambelon...is it?!"
"Not sure, Gusty...." Candy Apple mutters from behind.
Turning himself around to look upon his marefriend, Gust gasps in shock to see not only her, but the rest of his friends all decked out in colorful costumes and such. Recognizing right away who and what they are, based on what he read within the comic a while ago, the prideful pegasus pony shakes his head in disbelief, "Holy Ponyfeathers!! Look at you guys!!"
"Look at yourself, Gust." Starlight points out to the costume he dawns as well. "What is going on?"
"I think we are...the Power Ponies!" Gust claims upon what he sees.
"POWER PONIES?!!" The five costumed friends all blurt out in shock, looking upon themselves and their friends...both confused but amazed by the outfits they dawn.
"Candy...you are...the Fearless Foal-Gear: The mare who can create a silver suit of amor around her body, fly, and fire lazers from her mechanical hooves!!" Gust informs his marefriend, amazed by her mechanical armor and helmet.
Taking a minute to look upon herself, Candy admires the sign of machinery upon her body and how her visor can see more than her own eyes could ever. "How bout dat!!"
"Shani...I think you are...Camo Mare-O: The fastest archer who can hide among anything with her special camoflauge suit!!"
"Dis is quite de look...and something I would definitely be in a comic book!" The curious zebra admits, finding her outfit along with the bow and quiver of various arrows to feel more than what she does back at her home in the Southcape Tribe.
"Delicacy...you are The Mane-atee: The hero who can control water from anywhere, such as lakes and water pipes, and even summon Water Ponies to her aid in times of great need!"
"How delightful~" Delicacy admits, admiring the slick suit of green that feels comfortable and water-proof. Plus, the sparkling diamonds decorated upon her mane bring out a delightful giggle in her.
"Tyke!"
"What...?" The nervous teenage changeling mutters, worried a little about his colors of red and blue...only wondering what who or what he is.
"I think you are Colt-Bolt: The member of the Power Ponies who can sense danger and teleport away from it whenever said danger tries to sneak up on you." Gust reveals based on what he has read.
"Oh...uh...that's cool, I guess."
"Yeah!" Gust admits, only to turn upon himself and look upon his purple costume and the cyclone necklace he has around his neck, "I think I am Kaboom: The dashing and handsome flyer who can charge in like a torpedo, with a cyclone of wind to hit upon impact along with me...creating a large "kaboom" upon impact~"
"That is neat, Gust...but...what am I?" Starlight questions upon gazing at her own unique and stylish outfit.
"Not sure, Starlight. I never read all the way into the comic to see what your powers were." Gust reveals sadly, "All it said was that your hero's name was just the same name she had and that her powers were not yet realized. So...I guess we call you...Starlight?"
All she gives is but a mere shake of her head, "Wow...that's lame. Very lame...."
"Sorry, I never got a chance to reach that part in the comic...but I think you do have something special within. Just not sure what it is." Gust, or Kaboom, admits. "I guess we will have to see later."
"Ah guess...but right now, we need to find out where we are and how to get back to the library." Candy, or Foal-Gear, informs her best friends and fellow superheroes. "Where are we anyway?"
"I think we are in...Maretropolis." Starlight guesses, walking on over to the edge of the roof they stand upon and gazes out onto the city of lights and tall buildings.
The rest of her friends gather around her and gaze out in amazement to where they are now. First, they get drawn into a comic book of superheroes and now have become those said heroes...and now stand among a great city that seems as beautiful as Tambelon City herself, especially at night.
"Wow...it is so big and...beautiful." The Mane-atee admits once her emerald eyes gaze upon the greatness of such a city she nor any of her friends have ever beheld before in their lives, "I have seen Tambelon City and even Cumulai's grand beauty at night when all the lights are on, but this is beyond anything I have ever seen."
"Same here!" Kaboom concurs with his superhero friend, "I can only imagine how far this city spreads out. I say we explore and find some crime to fight!"
"Hold yer horses dere, Gusty." Foal-Gear places her metal hoof upon the back of her coltfriend to prevent fim from flying off anywhere, "Ah think de first thing we gotta do is find us a way outta here. We can't stay in dis here city fer long...since we have ta get back to de library."
"I agree." Starlight supports her best friend and leader, only to return her eyes onto the sights of the city itself, "I cannot help but recall my mother telling me about such a city name Maretropolis long ago when she was young. Not sure if she meant a real city outside a comic book...or if she and her friends were hear once before us."
"Not sure on dat one, Star...but Ah myself recall mah Aunt Applejack tellin' stories bout her being a superhero long time ago back in Equestria." Foal-Gear recalls, feeling the need to spin such a story.
"I think my mother told me a similar tale too." Kaboom informs to his surprise.
"I too have heard such a tale from both my mother and father." The Mane-atee speaks up when the subject seems to show more of a connection than mere coincidence. "Since it seems these stories all appear to be similar, perhaps we are not the first ponies or otherwise to be drawn into a comic book like this."
"From your tales, I would have to say we are not." Camo Mare-O agrees with her fellow power ponies, "But, it may be best to explore than to stand around a lot."
"I agree, Shani-I mean Camo Mare-O." Colt-Bolt says to his friends, "Maybe we can find a way out if we explore around."
"Sounds good to us!!~" The other four power ponies agree with their zebra and changeling comrades-in-costumes...and set off. Using their own wings or powers, or power suits, the Power Ponies manages to at least use their new abilities to move down off the building the stand on and traverse through the streets of Maretropolis...hoping to find an answer to escaping the comic book and returning to their world.

"How astouding~" The Mane-atee admires her unique powers upon using her magic to summon water out of the nearby fire hydrant, "I never knew I could do this: Use water as a means of walking~" She giggles while feeling the wave of the blue liquid raise her up off the ground just a little...and moving her forward. "It feel as though I am what some may call...surfing~"
"Don't let it get to yer head, Delicacy." Foal-Gear informs her comrade and friend...all while trying her hardest to work out the rocket boosters on her hooves, "Now if only dese blasted things would work n' let me fly...!"
"It'll come to you soon, Candy." Kaboom says to his marefriend as he hovers above her via his wings, "I still have yet to see the full extent of my power...but I am looking forward to it."
"I hope for the same...as it says by may name." Camo Mare-O mentions while focusing on her camon outfit to turn her invisible...or have her blend into the background. Either way. "I hope to master dis here power...within de next few minutes of de hour."
"I...hope so...too." Colt-Bolt mutters, showing a great deal of nervousness by the amount of shaking he gives off; His eyes gaze around...watching for anything that may come out and surprise them. "I can't help but feel...a little scared. I mean, this whole place is...different compared to where we use to...be."
"Its okay, Tyke." Starlight reassures her best friend and crush, hovering on down and to his side, "As long as we stick together and work as a team, there will be nothing that can defeat us: The Power Ponies~"
"Y-Y-Yeah...." The nervous hero in red and blue agrees with some doubt to what may be out there within this big city.
"Hey, look!" Kaboom informs his friends from what his eyes spot just ahead of them in front of what appears to be City Hall...where a large crowd of pony citizens have gathered. "Maybe we should go and see what those ponies are up to."
Seeing no other reason to turn away from those that may be of help to them, the six Power Ponies move in closer to see just what the citizens of Maretropolis are up to.
"BAN THE FREAKS, MAYOR!!!" A few ponies bark at the well-dressed mare standing atop the stairs leading up to the town hall.
"WE DON'T NEED THEM HERE!!!" Many other pony citizens cry out while holding their picket signs high in the air via their own magic or hooves. "ALL THEY DO IS CAUSE TROUBLE!!!"
"Please...Please, citizens of Maretropolis!" The grey mare mayor of the city speaks out those she watches over. "I know times are tough...but I will spare no expense to see to it that all is kept in order with these superheroes!" She says into the microphone upon her podium. "Let us not forget that some do help us in times of-"
"GET RID OF THEM!!" Everypony cries out, "THEY BRING NOTHING BUT TROUBLE!!!"
The roar and ranting of the crowds continues on and on...no matter what the Mayor does to calm them down.
"LOOK!!!" One pony screams to grab the attention of the others...pointing her hoof out at the approaching Power Ponies, "THERE ARE SOME NOW!!"
The moment everypony turns around to see that one of their own speaking the truth...and the disgusting sight of six colorful superhero ponies known to all as the Power Ponies...brings them all to turn from shouting at the Mayor to the ones they despise a lot more.
"Uh...this doesn't look good." Kaboom mutters, "Here I thought we would be recieving a warm welcome...but I think everypony here just wants us gone."
"Really...?" Foal-Gear says with sarcasm, "What was yer first clue, Gusty? Dem signs dat clearly say dey don't want us around?"
"Just stating the fact...and that maybe we should get out of here!"
The sight of the apporaching crowd of what now appears to be more of an angry mob only bring the other four to concur with Kaboom and Foal-Gear.
"Maybe we should get out of here...." Colt-Bolt mutters to his friends.
"I don't understand...." Starlight says with utter shock to the sight of angry and distrustful citizens shouting at them, "Why would they hate us? I thought we were heros of this world...just like my mother way years ago?"
"I do not know, Starlight...but I say we should probably make an exited before we lose our chance." The Mane-atee suggests, "I would hate for them to start through rotten fruit or vegetables at us and ruin my beautiful mane."
"Maybe we should see why dey hate us...before we get out of here on de next bus." Camo Mare-O also suggests, hating to runaway without understanding why the ponies would turn on them.
Just then, a large beam of magic is shot down from the building right across from the Town Hall...and it blasts a large chuck out of the front. Everypony screams in shock...and the Mayor is able to leap on down to avoid the rubble falling down and crushing her podium.
"What the hay just happened?!!!" The Mayor bellows while catching her breath, only to turns her eyes from the crowd of scared citizens to the building in front of her...and the figure that stands at the very top. "Who...or what...is THAT?!!"
Everypony, citizen and superhero alike, all turn their sights above...to where the bright sky starts to become covered by storm clouds...and spot a tall, red mare in blue and silver armor...standing before all with a wicked grin upon her face; The bright flash of the lightning allows for the evil mare to be seen all the easier by all those below her.
"BEHOLD, FOOLISH PONIES!!!" The mysterious mare bellows with a maniacal laugh to follow, "YOUR OPPRESIVE REIGN OVER THIS CITY HAS COME TO AN END!! A NEW ONE HAS COME...UNDER THE RULE OF THE ONE...AND ONLY...REIN!!!"
The various ponies all gas in shock and fright...just as the clouds roll in to cover the sky and make it appear as thought it were night. Lightning strikes of blue appear all around...and one behind it all is none other than the mare who calls herself Rein.
"How dare you strike the heart of our beloved city!!" The Mayor yells up at the one called Rein, showing no fear towards this mare...even as powerful as she may appear, "What is it that you want?!!"
"WHAT I WANT?!!" Rein screams, only to laugh. "HAHAHAHAHA...AS IF YOU, OR ANY OF YOUR "NORMAL" CITIZENS, COULD EVEN BEGIN TO IMAGINE WHAT IT IS "I WANT" FROM YOU!!!"
"Then tell us and we can-"
"SILENCE!!!" Rein bellow, bringing forth another bolt of lightning high in the cloudy, storm sky. "FOR TOO LONG, YOU NORMAL PONIES WOULD LOOK DOWN ON US UNIQUE BREEDS WHO'S ONLY CRIME IS EXISTING!!!"
Silence falls upon everypony, even the Power Ponies themselves.
"YOU HAVE CAST OUT ANY WHOM YOU DEEM AS "FREAKS" AND CONTINUE TO DESPISE THEM...EVEN AFTER ALL THE GOOD THEY HAVE DONE FOR YOU!!!"
Kaboom gasps upon such words spoken by the evil villain and turns to his friends, "That's right! I remember: Rein was once a successful business mare who owned a powerful company that helped ponies all over Maretropolis...until the board decided to close her out due to greed and other reasons. Rein got so mad that her own magic caused damage enough to where she was imprisoned...bound with magical reins to keep her magic in check. She would find a way out and later become that which we now see her as."
The other five Power Ponies are shocked by such a sad story that would turn a beautiful mare like Rein into a villainess of Maretropolis.
"That is...so sad." Starlight admits, "How did you know all that, Gust?"
"Easy. I read most of the origins on the characters in the comic." Kaboom reveals, "Even in ten minutes, that was enough time to at least figure out who would be in here."
"Mmmhmmm...and yet you could not read enough to know what my real powers may be?"
Only a nervous smile is given...indicating he did not.
"HELP!!!" The Mayor screams once a beam of magical energy surrounds her and levitates her up towards whre Rein stands. "SOMEPONY...SAVE ME!!!"
"HAHAHAHAHA!!! YOUR PRECIOUS MAYOR IS MINE...AT LEAST UNTIL SHE AGREES TO GIVE CONTROL OF THE CITY...TO MYSELF AND ALL THE PONIES WHO WISH TO LIVE AS THOSE WHO HAVE REFUSED A SIMPLE WAY OF LIFE!!" Rein yells while drawing in her hostage. "YOU PONIES WILL NEVER DEFEAT ME!!"
"She said LET HER GO!!!" Starlight screams, flying on up to intercept the captured pony leader of the free ponies.
"WHAT IS THIS?!!!" Rein blurts out in shock and demand, only to hover herself off of the building and move in closer...allowing for her vision to gain a closer view of the one who has dared to defy her, "WELL, WELL, WELL...IF IT ISNT THE POWER PONIES!"
"Dat's right!!" Foal-Gear shouts, activating her rocket boosters and hovering up closer to where her comrade lies in between Rein and the Mayor. "We're here ta stop ya!"

"YOU SHOULD BE ON MY SIDE...AND ALL OF THOSE WHO WISH FOR FREEDOM AND THE RIGHT TO LIVE, AND RULE, THIS CITY! WHY FIGHT FOR A CAUSE AND FOR THOSE THAT WILL JUST CAST YOU ASIDE?!" The armored mare of great power points down upon the mob of ponies...and the picket signs they hold. "DO YOU REALLY WANT TO FIGHT FOR THEM?!"

Upon the faces they see both disgust towards them while concern for their mayor; These very expressions bring them to wonder why they are fighting a battle that is not theirs nor that seems worth fighting for...especially if nopony will appreciate them for it.
"THINK ABOUT IT...HEROES!!!" Rein yells at her rivals, or possible allies, and fires a blast a magic around her...sending out a shockwave that knocks all six Power Ponies back and down onto the street below her. "MAKE YOUR CHOICE...AND COME TO MY COLOSSEUM WHEN YOU ARE READY TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIDE, MY LITTLE POWER PONIES!!"
"Help me!!!" The mayor cries out for assistance, only to realize that nopony can save her...none of the citizens that is, since the heroes she tried to defend failed.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Rein laughs with such a maniacal style to show just how evil she is, despite her reasons for being so, and levitates away from the crowd...taking her captive with her.

"Yeah...we saw." Foal-Gear informs, trying her best to have her inerface upon her visor to stop glitching. "Dat darn blast shook all mah sensors; Dere glitchin' more dan a bad movie projecter back home!"
The Mane-atee rises up from the puddle of water she lays within, feeling herself all the wetness within her mane more than her suit...which is waterproof, "How rude of that Rein! She messed up my precious mane...!"
"I...I think that is...the least of our...worries." Colt-Bolt mutters to his friends, pointing his hoof at the approaching angry mob. "They...look angry."
"You...may be right dere." Camo Mare-O concurs, "We best flee and take to de air!"

"Were you faking that rescue...because it looked like you barely did anything?!!"
"GET OUT OF HERE, YOU TRAITORS!!!"
More ranting, jeering, and throwing of rotten vegetables only begins. The hate they have for those who abuse their own power, or in this case fail to use it to its fulliest in order to save the day, only grows after witnessing their beloved elected leader fall into the hooves of what may be the most powerful enemy Maretropolis has ever faced.
"Please...we tried our best!" Starlight pleads with the citizens of the city, using her magic to form a barrier to protect her and her comrades from the incoming rotten food. "Please...!"
"Ah don't think dey are gonna listen to us, Star!" Foal-Gear guesses upon how the expressions of anger and hate are shown all around. "We should retreat n' think on what we should do next!"
"Yeah, lets get out of here before they start throwing something worse!" The Mane-atee suggests in a strong motion to flee.
Realizing there is nothing that can appease the crowd, the beaten Power Ponies all escape using their own powers: Foal-Gear activates her rocket boosters and takes to the sky; Kaboom uses his wings and the power of the wind to torpedo himself out of there; Camo Mare-O activates her special camoflauge jacket and becomes almost invisible...allowing her to sneak away; Colt-Bolt summons his magic to teleport away once the feeling of danger is too great; The Mane-atee summons the water around her to help her surf away fro mthe angry mob. Starlight holds the barrier to protect her friends, and flies away once her friends are all safely away.
The Power Ponies flee the scene...knowing not where they will go now.

"Yeah, lets get out of here before they start throwing something worse!" The Mane-atee suggests in a strong motion to flee.
Realizing there is nothing that can appease the crowd, the beaten Power Ponies all escape using their own powers: Foal-Gear activates her rocket boosters and takes to the sky; Kaboom uses his wings and the power of the wind to torpedo himself out of there; Camo Mare-O activates her special camoflauge jacket and becomes almost invisible...allowing her to sneak away; Colt-Bolt summons his magic to teleport away once the feeling of danger is too great; The Mane-atee summons the water around her to help her surf away fro mthe angry mob. Starlight holds the barrier to protect her friends, and flies away once her friends are all safely away.
The Power Ponies flee the scene...knowing not where they will go now.

"We're here, Star...." Foal-Gear informs upon touching down onto the rooftop, deactivating her rocket boosters on all four of her mechanized legs, "Ah think we lost dem...."
"That is not all we lost." Kaboom reminds his friends while hovering in the air, prefering to remain flying, "We lost to Rein, lost our chance at rescuing the mayor, and we lost any chance of being seen as heroes in the eyes of all those ponies."
"Yeah...." Colt-Bolt conurs upon teleporting to where his friends are all gathered, "I can't believe...we hesitated and...and allowed her to win."
The Mane-atee arrives upon the roof with the aid of the water wave she summons to levitate her up onto it...only to release the water and allow it to splash down into the alleyway below. "I do say...we really blew it back there."
Camo Mare-O instantly appears once she turns off her camoflauge vest...allowing all of her to be seen, "Dis really has been a terrible day. Leaving dis comic might be de best way."
"Yeah...." The others all agree without a second thought; After everything they have been through in just under an hour after being transported into the comic, the fun of being superheroes seems to have been taken away...just the same as the mayor and the hope of the city has been.
"NO!!" Starlight stomps her hoof onto the surface of where she and her friends all stand upon or hover above, "We cannot just abandon everypony here and leave Rein to conquer Maretropolis!!"
The other five Power Ponies gasp all at once upon hearing their best friend speak up in such a tone.
"It doesn't matter if this is just a comic book; This is but another realm connected to the world...much like Canterlot High from the tales my mother told me about." Starlight explains to her friends with such good points, "The point I am making is...that even if this is not our world, we should not leave it just because things are not going our way!"
"But Starlight-" Kaboom tries to reply, only to be cut off when his mouth is closed by her magic.
"No buts, Gust!" Starlight says with a strict tone, "You are the one who knows more about all of this than we do...in the ten minutes you read most of it...so you should be agreeing with me here!! I mean, didn't you first say when we arrived that we are Power Ponies and are heroes?!"
"I...I...I did."
"Then shouldn't we be acting like Power Ponies...and save the day?!"
"We should...but..." Colt-Bolt mutters at first in support of his best friend, but feels a reason of otherwise upon his mind, "...the ponies here...hate us. I mean, what if Rein was right? What if...we are fighting...on the wrong side?"
"Yeah...." The others all concur, feeling that the changeling may make a good point.
"It doesn't matter what they think!" Starlight states with another stomp of her hoof, "Those ponies are just scared and do not understand ponies like us...who have unique gifts; What matters is what we do with them...and Rein was pushed so hard that she chose to hate all ponies weaker than her. But we don't have to follow her path...because we are the Power Ponies, and we chose to defend Maretropolis from any evil that threatens it."
Such a speech seems to bring out motivation in the other five super ponies...along with smiles to their lips.
"Also, it doesn't matter if we get credit or praise for what we do." Starlight adds, "What matters is the good we do...which is reward itself."
"By golly...Starlight is right!!" Foal-Gear comes to agree with her best friend, "We are de Power Ponies and we should be protectin' dis here city...no matter what!"
"I completely agree!" The Mane-atee concurs, brushing back her sparkling mane.
"I'm in!!" Kaboom joins in with his best friends, "There is no way I am leaving this book until we stop Rein and save the day!!"
"I agree to dat, my friend!" Camo Mare-O supports, "Let us do battle with Rein until her terror is at an end!"
"Yeah...I wanna see this through before we return home!" Colt-Bolt stomps his hoof down, showing his determination to protect Maretropolise from Rein and her evil.
"Thank you, everypony...." Starlight expresses with a warm smile upon her lips, "Thank you, so much."
"You're Welcome, Star." Foal-Gear expresses, only to turn to all her friends at once, "Saddle up, everypony! We're gonna kick some flank over at the colossum!!"
"Yeah!!" All the Power Ponies reply. Together, they activate their unique powers and those while the ability to fly take to the skies...while the rest move across the rooftops from one building to the next.
The Power Ponies...are ready for action.

"W-What do...you want with...me?" The mayor asks while she remains tied up upon the high platform of the colosseum.
"SILENCE!!" Rein demands of her prisoner, "YOU ARE NOT IMPORTANT! WHAT IS...ARE THE SIX THAT WILL BE JOINING US SOON. ONCE THEY ARRIVE AND JOIN MY CAUSE...MARETROPOLIS WILL BELONG TO THOSE YOUR KIND HAVE CAST OUT!!!"
"Six...?" The mayor questions, only to gasp, "The Power Ponies?! No...No, they will never join you!!"
"YOU SEEM SO SURE OF IT!!" The wicked mare dawned in her silver and blue armor snears, "ALL YOU LESSER PONIES HAVE DONE WAS LOOK DOWN ON US WHEN ALL WE WANTED WAS TO LIVE...WHILE SOME OF USE ONLY WISHED TO HELP!! TODAY...YOU WILL GET TO SEE YOUR SO-CALLED HEROES MAKE THEIR CHOICE FOR THE FUTURE OF THIS CITY!!!"
"You got that right, Rein!!" The hollering of the Power Pony known by all as Starlight is heard within the center of the ring...around the bleachers of the colosseum.
Turning her attention from her prisoner to down below, the wicked mare Rein's frown changes to that of a grin once her eyes view the six Power Ponies that have arrived at long last, "WELL, WELL! ABOUT TIME YOU SIX WOULD SHOW...BUT NOW THAT YOU ARE HERE, WE CAN BEGIN OUR CONQUEST FOR ABSOLUTE DOMINATION FOR ALL PONIES WITH UNIQUE POWERS; NEVER AGAIN...WITH WE BE RULED NOR PUSHED AROUND BY THOSE WHO ARE WEAKER AND INFERIOR!"
"Save it for somepony who cares!" Kaboom scoffs, "We are not interest in anything you are selling!"
"But...we are not buying anything." Colt-Bolt informs.
"It was a figure of speech, Tyke...."
Rein just stares down at them...confused. "ARE YOU SERIOUSLY PLANNING TO SIDE WITH THESE...THESE LESSER PONIES INSTEAD OF YOUR OWN KIND?!"
"Yes...Yes we are!" Starlight claims, stepping forward ahead of her friends, "Because being a Power Pony is about protecting the good and the opressed no matter what. Whether or not we recieve credit or praise for our hard work, what matters is doing the right thing...because performing good deeds is reward itself!"
"YEAH!!" The other five pony heroes shout, standing by their friend and their decision.
"TRAITORS...." Rein mutters, only to shout it. "TRAITORS TO YOUR OWN CAUSE!!" With a firm wave of her head, Rein fires a powerful beam down at the Power Ponies, "TAKE THIS!!!"
Starlight summons a powerful magical barrier to protect her friends, with the help of Foal-Gear and The Mane-atee: They use their water and mechanical abilites to add to the shield...only for it to not be enough. The blast knocks them back...but the barrier they put up manages to protect them from taking any damage.
"STABLEHOOD!! ATTACK THESE TRAITORS!!!" Rein orders her family of unique ponies all around the colosseum to move from their positions and attack.
"Looks like we're gonna have ta split up and take down dem varment!!" Foal-Gear speculates, "Everypony...give em all ya got!!"
"YEAH!!!" The other five all concur, readying their powers and abilities to stop Rein and her Stablehood.
"POWER PONIES, GO!!!"
With those words ordered by their leader Foal-Gear, the other five all split up into six sections of the colosseum ring and hold off the minions. however, Starlight herself decides to take on Rein...determined to defeat her and see just who is the more powerful wielder of powerful magic. The battle for Maretropolis...has begun.

"Come n' get some!!" Foal-Gear taunts the pony minions that attack in groups.
The Stablehood ponies all show signs of fast speed, powerful magic, and even the ability to jump high in the air; All of them vary, but in the eues of the leader of the new Power Ponies, they seem easy to take down all the same.
"Here we go!!" She says to herself, and aims her from legs forward...and fires a bright pink beam at each and every minion that she comes within range; Thanks to her sensor visor and radar, Foal-Gear is able to tell just when the minions are coming in too close, allowing her to react to the shots just in the knick of time.
"Now dis Ah could get use ta!!"
"Time to make a boom!!~" Kaboom says with a snicker, "I've got to use that more often."
Flying his way on up high into the air, all while spinning round and around in a spiraling circle, Kaboom reaches out over the colosseum...only to shoot on down like a torpedo. Taking a huge cyclone of wind with with, the swift pony of the wind crashes down onto the ground...sending out a shockwave a wide that knocks around ten minions away and down.
"KABOOM!!!" Shouts the blue pegasai in purple...calling out his signature strength for all to hear and know.
A group of five Stablehood minions charge in to attack the young zebra mare...hoping to catch her before she disappears. However, they are too late:
"Time to go...and deliver a blow!" Camo Mare-O states, focusing enough to have her facepaint glow...causing the special adaptable camoflauge jacket to turn her completely invisible.
"What?! Where did...she go?!" One minion gasps at the sudden disappearance of the one Power Pony.
"I don't know...!" Another mutters, turning her head all around to see just where Camo Mare-O may have done.
"I am right here!~" A voice heard but not seen speaks from behind the group of Stablehood minions.
The group turn around in a split second, only to feel the force of five arrows fired at them at once: One with a plunger head to silence one pony; Another that has a boxing glow fist that knocks out the minion beside the other; An arrow that releases a new that traps the others. Within seconds, after this sudden surprise attack, the five minions of the Stabehood are down and out.
"Now wasn't dat a stunning surprise?~" Camo Mare-O teases in question upon reappearing before her defeated opponents, "I say it was, as well as the victory prize~"
"Ugh! Such ruffians!" The Mane-atee mutters while she watches a bunch of Stablehood members...all dressed up in raggedy outfits that seem to have come from the street itself...charge at her. "I think a bath is in order...with a little assistance~" Raising her head up high, the horn of this beautiful Power Pony releases a wave of magic...signalling aid from the sea that surrounds the coast this very structure she stands within lies upon.
The ground suddenly shakes a little...and the floor belong the hooves of the Stablehood minions cracks and opens.
"What is happening?!!" They all shout in shock...and soon recieve their answer:
Water rises from the hole in the ground made by the quake...and surfing the very wave of water are none other than three Water Ponies of the sea; These pony-like beings swim through the water...and upon moving in close to the enemies of the mare they protect and assist, spin around and smack them with their tails.
"SHO-BE...DO!!!" They shout as theiy battlecry...knocking the minions out within one strike.
Once her group of enemies are down and out, Delicacy smiles onto the Water Ponies that have come to her call...and giggles, "Thank you ever so much. That was one stylish method of cleaning up the trash~"
"Oh dear...." Colt-Bolt says with a gulp...watching as two minions with fast speed circle him.
"You can't catch us, weakling!!" They both mock, moving at such high speed around the nervous Power Pony that the moment to strike seems good as any now.
Suddenly, Colt-Bolt can feel his horn glowing within a split second...which is his very sonar sense informing him that danger is about to strike him. Without a second to waste thinking on it, the young hero summons his magic to teleport him away.
At the same time, The two fast minions move in to strike...only to miss once Colt-Bolt flees. The hard impact leaves them both with a majoy headache, bringing them to collapse onto the ground.
Reappearing upon the two knocked out Stablehood members, Colt-Bolt realizes that his power saved him and won him this fight. He squees with joy...realizing how important and strong he can be with the ability to sense and escape.

At that moment, the entire Stablehood gathered have been beaten by the five Power Ponies...leaving only the leader, Rein, left. The Power Ponies all turn to the air where the said wicked mare and their friend Starlight are doing battle.
"YOU THINK YOU ARE A MATCH FOR ME...IN YOUR CURRENT STATE, STARLIGHT?!!" Rein bellows while moving through the air thanks to her magic that allows her to fly without the need of wings, "YOU COULD HAVE BEEN MY MOST POWERFUL ALLY...BUT INSTEAD YOU ARE A FOOL TO SIDE WITH THE PONIES OF MARETROPOLIS!!!"
"Enough!!" Starlight screams, firing her magic at Rein with all her might...only to gasp when it just bounces off her.
"LIKE I SAID: YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR ME IN YOUR CURRENT STATE!! EVEN YOUR MOST POWERFUL SPELL CANNOT HARM ME...SO LONG AS I HAVE MY OWN MAGIC TO PROTECT ME!!"
Realizing that every time a spell is shot, it just bounces off the all-powerful supervillain. "I've got to think up something...or Rein might just win this!!"
"TAKE THIS!!!" Rein bellows, firing a powerful beam of magic directly at her target: Starlight.
Gasping, the alicorn Power Pony summons a barrier to block the spell...but the force of the high-level magic only pushes her back; Starlight gives all she has to remain where she hovers...but may fall soon if the beam hits her.
"GIVE IT UP, STARLIGHT!! YOU...CANNOT WIN!!!"
"Yes...I...CAN!!!" Starlight screams at the top of her lungs. "YES...I...CAN!!!" She repeats once more...feeling her angry rising until her whole body is covered in magical flames. Breaking free of the bream's path, Starlight rises high into the air...and spreaks her flaming wings out wide; The very brightness shining from her body parts the storm clouds and brings the day back.
Starlight has become...The Blazer.
"WHAT...WHAT IS THIS?!!" Rein gasps in shock to the one and only Blazer...the most powerful Power Pony in existance among all others. "HOW CAN THIS...BE?!!"
Replying not a word, the Blazer fires a flaming bream of magical energy down at Rein...which hits her in full and destroys her magical armor. The evil mare has lost her most powerful form of protection just like that.
"NOOOOO!!!!" Rein cries out...and feels her unique power fading. Without anything to keep her levitating, she falls onto the ground and onto the pile of her unconsious minions. Refusing to lose here, the now de-armoed mare tries to summon her magic, but no form of power is felt. It is all gone. "No. This...This cannot be. I'm...I'm...."
"ONE OF THEM!!!" Starlight roars and neighs so loud that it echoes through the entire city beyond the colosseum. Her final words were a form of mockery to the defeated mare of Maretropolis...and how she has been reduced to a simple pony like all the others she has hated. A fitting end for the end of Rein's reign of terror.
With the evil vanquished, the Blazer lowers herself to the ground. From there, the magical flames disperse...returning the might Power Pony to her original self: Starlight.
"Wow!! That was...incredible!!!" Kaboom admits. His eyes are wider than his mouth for a few seconds, along with his very jaw dropped in shock, "If only I read the comic more...I could have see this outcome!!"
"Kinda glad ya didn't Gusty." Foal-Gear implies, "Better ta see our Starlight gettin' all fired up...literally...and beatin' down dat evil mare!!"
"I agree. Twas such beauty~" The Mane-atee admits, smiling still from what she has just witnessed.
"You saved de day, Starlight. You beat de wrong in de name of what was right!" Camo Mare-O praises her best friend, places her hoof upon her back as a show of congradulating.
"Well done, Starlight. You were...so amazing." Colt-Bolt praises his best friend, blushing a little at her.
"Awwww...thank you, everypony." Starlight expresses her gratitude with a smile...and a blush towards the changeling she admires so very much.
"You saved me and prehaps all of Maretropolis!!" The Mayor, who appears to be free of the magical sphere that held her, praises the Power Ponies for her rescue. "You are the heroes we knew you to be!!"
Just then, the sound of applaud is hear all around the colosseum: So many pony citizens appear to have arrived just in time to have witnessed the downfall of Rein and her Stablehood...and the heroic Power Ponies whom are responsible for saving their home from evil. From the clapping of their hooves together or the stomping upon the ground below them...it seems that any doubt and hatred has vanished along with Rein's magic. The Power Ponies...are hailed as heroes once more.
"THREE CHEERS FOR THE POWER PONIES!!"
"YOU ARE OUR HEROES!!!"
"WAY TO GO!!!"
Praise and cheering continues throughout the stadium...without pause.
Speechless to the amount of praise and acceptance given to them by the sounds of applause all around, the Power Ponies stand tall together in victory to their teamwork and believing in the great cause of righteousness to have seen them through.
Just then, within only seconds after, the Power Ponies feel the force of magic beginning to pull them up into the air...which can only mean that by achieving victory, the comic book is allowing them to return to the real world...and back to the library from wence they came.
"Looks like it is time to go back." Starlight guesses, "I will admit this was quite an adventure...but one we should not try again for a long time."
"I agree." Kaboom concurs, "No more comic books for me...at least for the next week."
"Darn right!" Foal-Gear states with a firm voice, "Ah'll be makin' sure ya don't get us yanked into another world like dis again...Gusty!"
The rest of the Power Ponies all laugh, but agree the same.
With one final glance upon the crowd of the citizens of Marestropolis, the Power Ponies...known in their world as the Yearling Six...bid a fond farewell and return to their own world. However...a day may come when the next issue may call for their help again. When that time comes, the Power Ponies will be there...as the Heroes of Maretropolis.

While searching the Royal library for clues that may help to end the current crisis in Tambelon, the Yearling Six stumble across a comic book titled "The Power Ponies" and is draws them into it's world...where they become the next generation of superheroes. Now with their new ponies and colorful costumes, Starlight and her friends must do what they can to save Maretropolis from the evil Rein and her Stablehood of Minions. However, the citizens of Maretropolis are not making it easy to motivate the Power Ponies due to their fear and dislike of those who may bring trouble more than fixing it. Can the Power Ponies save the day and protect the citizens...or will they side with Rein and those who arem much like themselves? FIND OUT HERE!!!
